No, what saved putin today was nationalistic and patriotic tendencies on the part of Prigozhin. He let himself open to negotiation and didn't want to spill russian blood nor turn his land to a theatre of war. He could have started another protracted war with Putin.

nah a peace deal was agreed upon which ukraine signed Russia left Kiev and China, us, australia and others were guarantors for peace.

I dont know about Russia paying huge price in economic sanctions , but i know many countries in western Europe who r paying huge price for sanctions.

Germany is facing deindustrialization as many companies are shifting abroad , These companies received cheap gas from Russia and are able to compete with China and rest of the world .
