Yoruba people and APC supporters will not be affected by the increase. They will be enjoying. Maybe they will blame IPOB for the hardship that is coming with a sting!

Oya o! You people should come and praise your president again o! Don't forget to be good puppets please.. see, even if Tinubu had good plans, he just spoilt it with the fuel subsidy thing. He fought against it and now removed it in the worst possible way with out planning for you people that kiss his saggy ass cheeks! Dollar to naira today was 770.. and you guys said it has reduced ba? That forex bla bla bla.. I mean how can your dad flog you and tell you not to cry after making sure he watches you cry? It is just not a jolly ride at all
This present administration is starting on a bad note, increasing everything without any measure to cushion the effects, why the nonsense hypes and praise and songs. Why remove the fuel subsidy since Dangote refinery is not yet ready, marked my words even the money saved by fuel subsidy removal will be wasted by them. This man's suffering go pass Buhari own oo. Well waiting for those that say e go favour them and their family to enter market and sing those choruses.

That's good Mr President every subsidy must be removed some people don't know that the subsidy on electricity is multiple more than the petrol subsidy this country like free something and is not good. Now some areas that our light is not good will definitely good now no light no pay prepaid metres must be shared door to door now.. in my office if there is no light I used upto 15k of petrol per months and I paid 4500 naira per months for NEPA bills but now if light is constantly dey for at least 20 hours in a day and I 8500 per months am good to go with..... But I knew pretty sure is that if there is no light it will be difficult for NEPA to come and collect money from my hand it's just a matter of conscience

Jonathan sold NEPA to his cronies.
Stop wailing.

Attention President Tinubu:
1.this is one of the DISCOS in Nigeria and they are planning to increase Tariffs on Lights on the hapless Masses , from July, next week- just because of removals of Oil Subsidies!
This is unfair to the Nigerian People !
2.it is Unfair because the DISCOS are the ones who have not improved their Services since they were Created, but have been increasing Total Darkness to the Masses, which is - Wicked,Unfair and have taken Nigeria's as shit! The owners are same crooked, evil and don't want INDUSTRIALISATION for this Country,as they are hiding under the Newly Created Electricity Regime -to exploits the Masses,as you can see now!
We are writing you in darkness now! Yet at every month ending,Bills of Darkness are waiting for Nigerians! Is that fair? Without lights, Nigeria,as a Nation, can't grow to become a Super Power!
We are tired of being 3rd- World Country! Let's learn from India, Singapore, South Korea, etc!
3. The Solution is to dissolve and terminate the DISCOS- by paying them back their money - just as the government did to British Petroleum ( BP) as they wouldn't allow the New Electricity Regime you just signed to work ,then bring in the Experts like General Electric-etc ,by giving them mandate of 2-3yrs to fix Lights problems in Nigeria- failure, you will terminate their Contracts!
4- the present DISCOS are too Big and callous and needs to be flushed out- by turning lights to darkness in Nigeria, yet - Ghana, Benin-Republic,etc,don't use Generators,as they are on 24/7 Lights! We Nigerians have been under Slavery and your govt needs to deliver Nigerians Now!
5- Established an ENERGY-BANK- Like the Chinese!
The Mandate of such a Bank is to give Start- Up Facilities to the New Competitors- without it,there is no way you can effectively give Lights to over 200 NIGERIANS and their Towns and Villages for effective INDUSTRIALISATION!
Lights Generation and Distribution is Not Food Stuffs but is to preserve the Food Stuffs and give Employment to the Youths, through Creative businesses - like Manufacturing,Steel Making Industry, Production, etc,so this Sector needs Strong Foundations!
This is a 21- Century and we Nigerians are in Darkness- while the Americans are staying in the Moon, due to 365- lights usage!
Why are we do wiked to ourselves, using DISCOS,as an example!-You did not improve any Services, yet you suddenly increased Money to be paid to you by the Masses, under ) Haba!
•Mr President,Your 4- yrs would soon come,so work on them Now,lay a Solid foundation on this Light issues,Nigerians are ready to support you, DISCOS are very Corrupt ,hope we will Not be talking about this same NEPA/ DISCOS again!
• Declare Nigeria Electricity Sector an Emergency Now! This Country is messed up and fixing the Lights, will be one of the Great achievements- by solving over 50% of its problems and if you can do it Mr President, your name will be in Gold but you have to step on toes,if need be or do you want Nigerians to Migrate, just as Dunlop,Michelin did moved to Ghana!
Let Discos reverse that increases in Tariff Now,as it's not justifiable!,if you allow it to go,Nigerians and Opposition will soon used it against you- no lights,no Pre- Paid Meters, Very Corrupt Entities are in operation here!
God bless Nigeria.

How are these DISCOs tackling electricity fraud? Imagine fellow Nigerian boasting to me during our discussion in public that he pays zero naira for electricity. From his words "I bypass my light and consume almost 40k monthly. Nigeria can go to hell and nothing disco can do about it"

I told him he is stealing electricity and passing the billing to his neighbour unbeknownst.

He didn't even know that it is a serious criminal offence. After correcting him, the next thing he said is "Are you a nepa staff"?

Yes, Nigeria belongs to us all. The point about eating your cake and having it is not about a national cake but about the decision.
All the major political contenders campaigned to remove subsidy. Our leaders have been trying to remove subsidy for over 10 years. Now, it has been removed, we're blaming one man or party for removing it when that was everyone's plan all along. It makes no sense to blame.

Crude oil is smuggled out of the country. So the solution is to ban crude oil production so that smugglers won't have opportunity to smuggle out crude oil?

LoLz, i gave an instance to show someone saying that said there's no corruption in the subsidy racket. Banning crude oil like YOU suggested is A solution, but not the only solution.
You should have suggested a solution all these while when all the politicians were promising to remove subsidy for over 10 years. You came late so deal with the consequences instead of murmuring chiefly because some loser is not the one taking the decisions.

1. 7.5% VAT on diesel
2. Fuel subsidy removed
3. Electricity tariff hiked
4. University tuition increased to 400K+
5. Naira devalued
6. Same old politicians lined up to continue the looting

While
7. FG Votes ₦24 Billion For 10th NASS Members’ Accommodation
8. Elected Politicians, Judges Set To Get 114% Salary Raise

The only solution is Nigerians must shun tribalism and religion expecially (y0l0ba Muzlems) and hold these politicians responsible. Or else we will all die.

You're all already dead.

Corrupt people can manipulate any avenue to defraud the people . It's the weakness of the government that they are exploiting but the government rather than deal with their failures choose to cut us off... They choose the easy way out and made us casualty. We are not the ones exploiting the system and none of those has been caught or punished because the government is complicit.

What do you mean cut you off? How much does fuel cost all over the world? Dollar rates are terrible and the government can do better with that trillions used as father christmas that keeps multiplying instead of increasing debts.
It makes more sense to simply lock up your vault instead of leaving it open and looking for faithful and solid security that will catch thieves. They call it root cause analysis. undecided

I hope you know 1 month subsidy funds that run into billions have been saved for the this month(June)??

Have you cared to track the fund and enquire about how it has been utilized or how it will be used??

Let know now how the 'saved' June funds have been used so far

It is one thing to promise, albeit deceive, Nigerians that the saved funds will be properly invested and another thing to ensure they're properly invested.

Remember we'll personally hold you and your fellow misguided bigots who supported/preached subsidy removal accountable if Nigerians suffer in vain at the end of the day.

May be solar?
I think you should rather focus on reducing consumption to the bearest minimum, but still have you Nepa light. Have your alternatives too. But to say one can do without Nepa, Bros e no easy ohh. It is still the cheapest electricity for now.
The initial cost of solar is outrageous, generator too, fuel price is unsustainable.

1) South.Beasts remain the most etno-religious bigots in the country because only a lunatic will vote such a failure as the Pandora criminal who's only political reason is because he is a Christian.

2) Didn't LAMBA your Messiah also promised to remove fuel subsidy as one of his campaign promises?

3) America, US, Canada etc are countries where subsidies were removed yet many Nigerians are queuing at their embassies daily for visa. Do you ask yourself why that is so?

4) Obi or any other South.Beasts will never smell the presidency for the following reasons
a) South.Beasts are 3rd class citizens in Nigeria and we will never allow a person of such low status rule over real citizens
b) South.Beasts don't have leadership qualities because they are too emotional, bitter, hateful, BIGOTED to be able to make logical decisions
do you know the minimum wage of those countries? They don't have corrupt leaders like ours. They don't give birth like pigs like we do here. Don't compare heaven and hell please
