The problem is the actor. That guy can't act for real

° Brodaman, The weekend did his part, it's just an empty story for the general public but those in the entertainment industry will understand better. The movie is doing what lily rose wants to do with her music, if you understand you will understand better. We all have our fears and trauma, I hope it won't take the best out of us and make us vulnerable to manipulators. Never show your weakness °

The idol episode 3 is a solid 10/10 for me.

If you are not watching the idol then you don't know what you are missing.
Maybe because you are not really into the music industry that deep. But for those of us that are into the music industry especially the dark and hidden side of the music industry, this series is a masterpiece and an expository analysis of the music industry.

This episode three just take it to a higher level, a solid 10/10 for me.

Who told you your life is your own especially when you seek fame in the music industry?

Most of the songs these musicians sings, you have no idea where the lyrics came from.
Some of the lyrics are Their deepest pains and sorrows, oh!!! you have no idea.

Mehn!!!! The Nigeria music industry though trying, but still lacking when it comes to songs and lyrics that eats deep into your soul.

Watch the idols and you will understand why the Nigeria music industry is still lacking, we ain't really there yet and until we throw away dancing to senseless beats and focus more on lyrics, we are just going to continue celebrating the likes of asake and seyi and co.
we are all dancing in mediocre.

I can't wait to watch episode 4 right away.
Personally this series deserves an Emmy.

Ofcource the hypocritical world and audiences at it again.

I think by now you are supposed to know that most reviews are tempered reviews or paid reviews and above all, reviewers are now hypocritical.

Criticizing a series for it's Nudity and sex content but have premium accounts on xvideos and Pornhubs.

LMAO Woke people and their agenda have all gone crazy. Because the series has no scene of gayyy sex or girl on girl kiss, then the series is rubbish and don't deserve a second season.

Criticizing a series for it's torture scenes and yet they mentally torture kids to change their sex from male to female, from female to male.

Can't you see how the world and it's woke people are now trying to control everything even to series and movies?

When the series is about exposing the music industry, how do you expect it to have a second season?

I see all the nonsense and bullshiiit about the series online and then i realize how hypocritical these headless woke people have become.

Back in the days, we had Spartacus and many series on nudity and sex but these days, they want to act all Righteous and yet there are millions of almost naked celebs on Instagram and billions of sex tapes on Twitter.

Oh!!!! They should ban mainstream twitter and ban apps like only fans.

The world has gone bizarre and hypocritical

The series goes beyond just sex and nudity, the series is a masterpiece but people chooses to see what they want to see and look away from the masterpiece.

The upcoming WIT Studio's ISEKAI Anime Project will be featuring characters from American comic books published by DC Comics.

Guess someone will be sent by truck-kun to the DC universe and meet superman and the likes

those are mostly audience reviews tho...
And from what I've read, they mostly criticize the acting and the story

Acting and story were on point.

I've come to understand that in this world, criticism will always come, so just do your thing.
There are those that will always appreciate you even in the midst of criticism.

Lmao, dude truly has poor taste.

WTF kind of music were they singing in The Idol that warrants him talking down on Nigeria's music industry.
The lyrics to the song sef holds no meaning asides from sexual context or seduction and romance. Ask him what meaningful impact any of the songs hold asides from those I listed above, he won't be able to tell you shït.

Coming from someone that bandies around 10/10s with reckless abandon, I ain't surprised.

° Brodaman, you clearly haven't watched it, the series was meant to go against the wave just like how the weekend is trying to build lily rose into. You can't relate because it's not for everyone. Yeah the story is bla but the intention were well scripted. The movie is not mass selling why, they went against what "pop believed to be true" and that's what they are trying to tell you in the movie.
The sex scene were not that detailed self unlike the norms we see. The review expected more from the weekend and lily rose based on their perceptions, and that is what the series is about. It's my creative right, let me do what I want at least once not something that pops. If you fast forward movies or the action type pls don't put on a sleeping dose, it's more of a docuseries into the entertainment industry. °

Nope.
I believe you are talking about Tabitha finding herself in a hospital outside the town. What guarantee do you have that she isn't in a dream state? What makes you think she isn't in another stage of a twisted simulation? Watch that ending again and observe her reflection on that window. The reflected image on the glass isn't that of Tabitha, but that of a blonde girl.

Bro!!!!! Well explained.
Indeed real recognizes real.
I already said it here before that the series is not for everyone except those that really understands the music industry and what's really going on.
Series like this that goes against the tides normally gets bad reviews and are not always renewed for new seasons.

People just want to watch series and start seeing bloods, fights and super heroes.
If it's not Batman or marvel's thor or extraction then it's not a great movie or series!!

How i wish they know that these popular series are never realistic but when they see a movie or series that tends to expose the hidden realities of the world, they say such series and movies are boring.

The idol is an expose into the music industry but only few people can relate because majority of people don't even understand the music industry.

The idol reminds me of realistic stories of Britney spears.
Michael Jackson.
Whitney Houston.
and many more.
Music industry is too deep.
in that scene where the manager told the producer, that they should kill off the Weeknd which is tedros

Now that scene right there is a revelation of what is happening in the America music industry, especially if they consider you or see you as a threat against the order of things.

The idol episode 4 is 9/10 for me.
Mehn!!! i am pained because they have forced the owners of this series to end it in episode 5.
Series that was initially for a longer episode.

Ofcource you will see excuses like it's because of low reviews but people that understands the music industry knows where the pressure came from to end the series.

When i watched the episode 1 of the series, i told a friend that they will end the series and that series like these in America don't stand.

If they almost destroyed Kanye west, then this series won't last.

Expository series like these that tends to last for another seasons are if they are not made in north America and the united kingdom.

If it was Spanish or Korean or Italian or south America, they would have fought to stop it but would have failed because the people in these countries are mostly all religious people, mostly Catholics and Anglicans and pentecostal so they welcome such series.

This is why many horror series or dark series that sees lots of seasons are not American or Hollywood.
