Someone advised that if I don’t want to risk getting an NSF mail I should not include my CV or work reference letters at all in the documents I’ll submit during Visa Application (since I don’t have references for one out of three)

Can a main applicant use two accounts for POF in his application, while he uses only one account that has all monies required for his dependants as well as his balance tuition and living expenses when he applies for his dependants?

My visa application was on 13th June and my biometric was done on 19th. And on 20th my application was received by DMC and I got empty nsf together with my dependent..since then am stuck at DMC while many other who gone for biometric same day already gotten their visa .

Can I do a paid call or mail...as my mind wasn't at rest.

Kindly advice pls..

And to who have gone through this empty nsf ..and how did you go about it.

Anyone studying Nursing in Salford? Specifically, considering placements, can someone work enough to support tuition and other expenses while studying Nursing in Uni of Salford? Does the course schedule give enough time and are there placement opportunities where students can work and make money in the hospitals? Pls your response(s) are highly appreciated.

Please, quit the notion of making enough to support yourself and pay tuition fees. You won’t have the luxury of time to work except if you don’t want to follow the rules of 20hrs/week during term time.

For the placement, I’m not sure if you’re going to be paid during placement but you could do your 20hrs. I’m not a nurse nor Salford student but I know someone studying nursing there.

If you have a study gap of more than 5years you need to submit evidence of your activities since your last degree, so you need to submit your work references.

If you don't you will get an NSF requesting for that evidence.

You have 2 references out of 3, that is okay compared to none.


2. CV is not compulsory so you could skip that if you choose too

I mentioned earlier that if you choose to submit your updated CV, send same to your Uni so the records are consistent


Up to you to decide to follow this or that of someone else

Ideally, you should wait at least 15 working days after you get an NSF to chase up

You can send a paid mail or call after the 15days wait

I just got a conditional offer from Teesside University for September intake and I'm expected to pay a deposit of 5000pounds deadline 20th July,

Pre-Cas check, maintenance check, and results verification deadline 5th August

Issuing of CAS deadline 30th August

And school is starting 4th September

I'm totally confused if I'll be able to meet up.

Or should I just forfeit it?

I totally get what you’re going through.

Happened during mine. I paid for priority visa and I kept getting empty NSF mails.

I did a lot paid calls, wasted a lot of money. Trust me they will keep telling you that “no decision has been”.

My visa eventually came out after almost 2 weeks as opposed to just a couple of days.

All you can do is pray and try to keep calm( I know this impossible lol ) just try.

Hello house, please I applied for a visitor’s visa to the UK April last year and when I’ll get my passport back in June, all the pages were empty. No stamp. Nothing. I also didn’t get any email explaining anything asides this attached one. I also wasn’t inclined to clarify it cos the trip wasn’t do or die for me.

Now my question is, does this scenario count as a denied visa? Because they returned my passport to me untouched (some two weeks after they sent this attached mail) and no other email asides this was sent to me.

While POF was counting i have decided to use the pof alone and excluded my dependant from the deposited funds due to the hike in naira then I remembered I applied for admission as a single applicant I mailed the school to update the status which was successfully done with a reminder from the school that additionally to the funds i must have for the remaining tuition fee and my living costs, i must have sufficient funds for my dependant too, which is a minimum of £6120 per dependant. If I may ask would I be granted CAS without the dependant pof since she will be applying for visa in another few months
