Hello people. Please is there a limit to the number of accounts that can be used for POF for an individual applicant. Can someone use up to 3 accounts. because the 3 account types are different- Current, savings and Dorm. 2 accounts are in one bank and the other is in another bank. Thanks.

I will assume you asking about combining accounts


You can combine accounts with your spouse as long as it meets the required amount on the date of your application


If you do combine accounts include a cover letter to address what accounts refer to what application( between the MA and dependant)

Yes, we intend to combine account both MA and dependant, but please note that MA will have to apply first which is nextweek the remaning balance on his account will be merged to dependant account when it matures because his is currently in excess at the moment

For the 4th paragraph from your response, do you mean we should attach pof consent letter to use MA account together with dependant's pof

While POF was counting i have decided to use the pof alone and excluded my dependant from the deposited funds due to the hike in naira then I remembered I applied for admission as a single applicant I mailed the school to update the status which was successfully done with a reminder from the school that additionally to the funds i must have for the remaining tuition fee and my living costs, i must have sufficient funds for my dependant too, which is a minimum of £6120 per dependant. If I may ask would I be granted CAS without the dependant pof since she will be applying for visa in another few months

Can my partner apply for a dependent Visa as an unmarried partner? If yes? Do I need to inform the home office about the unmarried partner issue since I earlier applied as a Single applicant?

Is it advisable to still apply as unmarried partner if we can't prove that we have lived together for 2 years?

My brother, I remember exactly 1 year ago, Teesside University was hot cake bcs of low and flexible tuition fee conditions and cheap standard of living of the area. An agent advised me to pick a school close to London.

Fast forward, I live in London now and I thank God I took his advice.
It took my wife less than a month to get a care job in London and it came with sponsorship. Sponsorship wey people dey pay thousands of pounds for.

The only problem with London is high rent. Overall, you and your partner would make plenty of money to offset the bills and still save enough money.

My advice: If you are coming with your partner, don't focus on affordable places to settle. Consider job opportunities as top priority.

I'm worried about uploading my offer letters as the remuneration doesn't match my POF. Will the ECO not be concerned how I earned such money in my account for POF due to the remuneration on my offer letters ?
I also went to North Cyprus 2022 for study but couldn't complete the course after gaining admission in the UK. I left after three months (voluntarily with a valid permit) .Hope this won't pose any issue towards my visa application.

If you deduct funds it should be for that purpose only,keep any evidence of what you do

Any other arrangement is deceit and will attract a 10year ban when caught

If the ECO is concerned they will request that you provide additional documents to show the source of your funds.
