victorVIC1:if you calculate well, you will know that Finland and UK are now on same page when it comes to money. You will pay school fees that will be up to 8k euros and then have block account for application of RP |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by victorVIC1(m): 11:28am On Jul 02, 2023 |
TabletMan: The school fee is far lower than that of UK but I was not aware of the block account. I thought they only require SOA. Thanks so much for the headup. Make I just continue with my process jor |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by TabletMan: 12:01pm On Jul 02, 2023 |
victorVIC1:Sorry for the mix up, it's SOA not block account like Germany's visa App. But you will still need money to fill in the account. But the edge Finland gave the UK is that your years of study will also count toward the required years for a potential PR 4 Likes 1 Share |

Outstandingmam: Hello sir, please is there still free tuition schools in Finland for M.Sc? I wanted to start reading the thread from page one, but it started in 2012, and I am sure things must have changed now. I have read over 300 pages of thread from UK, Canada, Australia, Austria. To really start reading this thread from page 1 to page 300 plus will take its toll on me. Please I will appreciate your response sir. |

oyetpel:Leaving this country is no longer an option for the middle class. You must either choose between leaving the country or setting up a business or even an investment. I'm not sure that 6m will be able to take someone to any Schengen |

Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Outstandingmam: 7:34pm On Jul 09, 2023 |
Sottihoma: Your waec or neco is what will give you admission. However for some very competitive schools, in addition to your waec or neco, they'll ask for SAT. So my advice is to do SAT if you can to boost your chances. Visit studyinfo dot fi and check through the requirements of your desired school |

Hello ma, please i want to ask, the application opening this september, i discovered the resumption will be around August september 2024 for Msc. Please is there a way to get an admission for MSc that would be starting early next year if this year is impossible?? I just started thinking Finland when Australia became too expensive for me, had to giveup on the admissions. Outstandingmam: |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Outstandingmam: 9:03pm On Jul 09, 2023 |
aradeola: Irrespective of when admission starts, resumption to schools in Finland is always August/September. They don't do those multiple resumption like US, UK or Canada. This is the position as far as I know but maybe someone else has another experience or perspective. Australia is really good because it's English speaking but it's truly expensive |

Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by TabletMan: 12:08pm On Jul 15, 2023 |
tensazangetsu20:Business is not easy in Nigeria especially when you know nothing about the business you're doing. But doing business with big capital in a business city like Lagos, Onitsha, Kano, and Aba you have a 75% chance of success. And you're wrong when you said that 90% of traders will run away when they see 6 million unless you mean street traders. 1 Like |

TabletMan: 75 percent chance of success indeed. Even in developed countries with very wealthy citizens, 90 percent of startups fail within the first 5 years talk less of a poverty stricken hell hole like Nigeria. 2 Likes |

I have Msc in Operations management from Nigerian University , and by September , I willl will be done with my Msc in supply mgt in UK. With the present UK unfriendly immigration policies and how UK government is planning to fleece the immigrants , and also couple with the high cost of studying Phd , the I would like to start my Phd in Finland . How is life generally in Finland? What is the chance of getting PR and job in Finland ?. In addition , I graduated with 60+ in both Masters program , what is chance of getting admission ? How do I go about the admission process ? Thank you |

tensazangetsu20:There is a big difference between doing business in the developed world and developing countries. Doing any startup requires a lot of paperwork and government monitoring to the extent of even controlling how you pay your workers. But the same can't be said about Nigeria 1 Like |
