Power is ALLOCATED BY TCN according to following formula so revenue means nothing other than the ability of DISCOs to recover money for electricity billed: Ikeja - 15% Ibadan - 13% Eko - 11% Abuja - 11% Enugu - 9% Benin - 9% Kano - 8% Kaduna - 8% Port Harcourt - 6.5% Jos - 5.5% Yola - 3.5% For those casting tribal aspersions, SEVEN of these DISCOs are technically bankrupt: Abuja, Ibadan, Benin, Jos Kano, Kaduna and Yola. |

Jogs1900: Do not exclude Lagos from South West. If the Federal Government and the Aboriginal people of Lagos recognize Lagos as SW, why should you bend to the sentiments of a non-state actor? Akinnolu, the Oba of Lagos and Sanwoolu, the Governor of Lagos both answer Yoruba names. If they are looking for their commonwealth, they should look to Abuja which has appointed minister as the administrator and not Lagos which would always be governed by a Yoruba man. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Lagos state is killing only one tribe in Nigeria, the Igbos. The only reason why they hate the Yorubas cos the Yorubas are years ahead of them at all levels. The first radio and tv stations were established by the Yorubas. They wish they could remove Lagos state to their erosion ravaged, terrorism and criminality loved region where foreigners and Nigerians run away from. If there is a region cursed on earth and in heaven, it’s the East. I remember how Pakistanis were claiming New Delhi before they were kicked to Islamabad. The same thing happen to South Sudanese who thought Khartoum is their collective commonwealth until they were got kicked to Juba. To the Igbos, no matter how bitter you feel, Lagos state is a Yorubaland and Yorubaland is Lagos state. You can’t separate the two. No matter how Scottish people feel, London belong to the English while Glasgow or Edinburgh remains Scot’s’ heritage. The question y’all need to ask these fools from the Yeast is this, why are their kinsmen running to the West? The last time I checked, people naturally moved to where their lives could be better, and that place is Yorubaland. If any Igbos ask or tell you that the igboland has more middle class or has more purchasing powers or less poverty, please tell them, why are international and local businesses are running to South West? Companies come to South West cos the people there-The Yorubas have purchasing powers which means “Middle Class”. As at today, this is d poverty level in their cubicle-size igboland- Ebonyi- 78%, Anambra-32.1%, Enugu-63.1%, Abia-40.7%, Imo state-29.9 while Oyo state(The same size of the entire South East)-48.1%,Lagos state-29.4%, Ondo state-27.2%,Ekiti-36%, Osun state-40.7%, Ogun state-36% The Yorubas are extremely blessed. Everything about them is exceptional. The Yorubas are in the West just like USA/Europeans called themselves the Westerners. The Yorubas were getting their masters in all field of disciplines when Igbos were swinging nakedly in their caves. 1 Like 1 Share |
