I think Catholic priests should be allowed to marry, that will stop them from engaging in sexual immorality, the lady did the right thing by informing the hotel though.

The error was to have allowed himself to be called a priest when he knew he couldn't continue with the job.
As a matter of fact, it happens in every sphere and strata of the society. Doctors, lawyers, labourers and the lots.
He was afraid of the reaction of a man like him while going contrary to the oath he took before God. There have been scores of priests who couldn't continue with the job and chose to drop the cassock.

You got got it wrong my dear. No one is judging him.As a Christian/ Priest. Sexual celibacy is an heavy burden to bear. You don't have to if you can just marry once and for all. You cant be a priest and still keep a girl friend. Alot have renounced priesthood because they couldn't cope and they were applauded and celebrated. It's better than going to hell.

Having girlfriend by Catholic Priest in africa is not uncommon. Particularly those in small towns or villages.
Even some Catholic Priests are encourage by their families to impregnate one or two of their girlfriends.
In small towns people know the children of the catholic priests.

Like seriously. This is really commonplace in the Catholic Church. A good number of the priests are involved in this show of shame which is why I laugh when I see people revere them and confess their sins to such immoral and hypocritical people. Imagine confessing your sins to someone who's a worse sinner than you but deceiving himself and gullibles around that he's close to God.
