Ademola Adeleke of Osun State for appointing 17 Christians and 7 muslims as commissioners in Osun State. He described Adeleke as a secret agent of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) with a licence to oppress Muslims

Get a credit card that gives you a reward either airline miles, cashback or something

So what you should do is to know your billing cycle and when it ends. The amount you spent in your billing cycle pay it off immediately before the cycle ends. Because they will calculate your interest based on the amount you are carrying on bill cycle end date

E.g Lets say your billing cycle ends on 31st of every month

Spend as much as you like on your CC from 1st to 30th, By 30th pay it off. This ensures you pay zero interest while getting the benefit of using the card(like airmiles, cashback etc)
Your credit card utilization will be zero or low which is good in your credit report
E.g
July 1 cycle starts
July 4 spend $500
July 10 spend 300
July 28 spend $100
July 30 Pay the balance used of 800

See here you have spent $800. Pay off the $800. means your interest payment will be $0 but the reward will be calculated on how much you swipe/use

Different states have their laws regarding that. In most states in US you pump your gas by yourself

In Texas you swipe your card at the pump or go inside to pay and fill it yourself

In New Jersey for example they have people who man the pumps. I just read below than in 2 states and some counties

You might need to use a credit card for like a year or so if you are building up to get a mortgage.

After you get the mortgage, you can dump it as your mortgage will build up your credit score of itself.

They are basically telling you that you have no active credit utilization, which is important in building and maintaining your score.

Here is an unconventional approach to building your credit score without a physical credit card. Approach a bank or credit union if you have those there and apply for a small loan ( stay under $1000).

It could be a personal loan for the holidays or whatever then get on a monthly payment plan that stretches the length of the loan, nothing too long but at least 9-10 months. After paying that off, check your score and apply again. Your credit line will increase after you payoff the first one, so will your score.

Credit score is all about Credit worthiness and the length of the credit is usually important. If you take a credit line and pay it off immediately, it wouldn’t do much to improve your rating.

If you are planning to buy a house, this will help raise your score and when you get your mortgage you can dump the line of credit or keep it as additional line.
