lexy2014: Governors and political leaders are out of reach. The poor and business individuals are the ones suffering the untold hardship brought forward by these elements. If they can honestly articulate their point and communicate same to the government, then it could spark the beginning of the end of violence in that region. |

Let Nnamdi Kanu be released and also be engaged politically them follow with dialogue with others, that is what would bring peace to the South East region. My advice to the government of the day. |

Alfatonji:Just be praying Nnamdi Kanu isn't going to be killed by Asari Dokubo group when released! The SS and Wike aren't ready to accomodate Igbo shenanigan again and Peter Obi has given political leverage to help Yoruba people gained from vote neutralisation from the SE. |

naptu2:The first move would be to release Nnamdi Kalu after reaching some kind of agreement with him.. The next would be to engage the youths. There are countless no of graduates in the South East region wasting. No job, no tangible business. All they do is to while away time because no money to start business and no tangible skill to augment their certiticate. So skill acquisition is very important. Most so, the south eastern governors need to stop being selfish and greedy. They should stop looting allocations meant for developing their states. |

lexy2014: Yes, they do. To deliberate and reach out to all concerned on the need to embrace peace. The governors and political leaders are somehow emotionally sentimental. They don't want to incure the wrath of their people and they don't want to be seeing as the clog in the wheels of their people's agitation. So, they'd rather wait till federal government got fed up and decides to take the fight to the troublemakers and agitators. Governors and political leaders can't even do much as they are powerless. The best option is to hold meetings and take their results to federal for action. Or , do you expect the governors to give a matching order to soldiers, airforce, police and navy? It is federal government that can put an end to this if the governors and political leaders approach them. |

Jokers. Even Tinubu already knows the reason for insecurity in Southeast is detention of Nnamdi Kanu and imposition of Uzodinma as Governor of Imo State. Correct those 2 things and it will be like nothing ever happened before. |

Good to see they are waking up little by little. Unserious people. They still have to beg them to put their telephones on silence. They should go learn how elders behave and leadership from their South West counterparts. 1 Like |

They should give their children home training from birth. Igbo youths have no respect for Igbo elders. Check out the way governor Oyebanji of Ekiti state shown respect to Afe Babalola yesterday. Can that ever happen in Igbo land? |
