Shut up your smelly mouth. The people causing this insecurities in SE are people from mostly imo state. Owerri and Orlu are the headquarters of ipob terrorists. Ipob has made imo state a no go area, even uzodimma has been living in Abuja for the past two years because Owerri is no longer safe even as a governor. Aba, Owerri and Abakaliki people are the people that are most in ipob and they are infiltrating Anambra , that’s why Anambra border with imo state is where ipob is usually invading because they are coming from imo state. Imo is a failed state and federal government should declare a state of emergency in imo state for security to return to igboland

Despacito1:

At the end of the day people wey dey cause of this wahala all are from Upper iweka, Okpoko, Awada and Otu-Onitsha destitutes that looted guns from police, they created camps all over Anambra and entered neighbouring states.. if you look they're only trying to complete their warlord General Ojukwu mission he unaccomplished which is Biafra. I don't know why Jagaban don't want to send soldiers to calm all this .

Imo state people aren't internet-active. Abia is the worst, but Imo is second to them. Millions of people, nobody can post one kpim picture. We have the worst government in the SE by far and they're far from modern enough to post a pictures of their work - if work existed. Otherwise, other Imo people will just be here complaining that I'm posting pictures of Owerri lol. If you're at home, take a picture and post.

Oga, stop distorting facts. Nothing is currently happening in Imo State that's why Imo people don't post pictures online. Hope Uzodinma hasn't lived up to expectations (that's if the people even expected anything from a governor they never voted for).

In fact, most of the Imo pictures shared by social media pages that promote Nigerian cities are those of Owerri when Rochas Okorocha was governor. Ever since Rochas left office, it is as though Imo State slipped into depression. We can even see it on this thread too.

It's easy to get Imo people to vote for your party from bottom up; just be a working governor. The party doesn't matter as far as Imo people are concerned. This is the same reason Dave Umahi's APC cleared almost everything in Ebonyi State. Parties are not the problem of Nigeria, politicians are.

Being Internet-active in your own world is posting many years old photos of Owerri here.
You are from Oru. I remember last year; on TV, Uzodinma's Commissioner, Declan Emelumba from Orsu LGA describing Awomamma in Oru as rural area where IPOB people hide.
Uche Onyeagocha from Owerri had to remind Emelumba that Awomamma is an urban area, and has no hiding bush for any IPOB people. In truth, from Mgbidi to Awomamma cannot be defined as rural area anywhere in the world.
Your kinsman Hope Uzodinma, reduced Orlu and Okigwe to rural areas; refused to do any urban development in the two cities; the two cities were officially designated urban status even before Hope Uzodinma entered primary school. You paste photos of painted streets of Owerri with the belief like Uzodinma that Owerri is the only place in Imo state worthy of new infrastructures.

there are more Imo people than people from any other Igbo state, especially abroad. But they don't get as involved in discussing 'Imo State' or 'Nigeria' as ppl from other states. That's what I noticed.

Three major roads are the focus of Uzodinma administration viz Owerri-Orlu (completed), Owerri-Okigwe(almost completed) and Owerri-Umuahia(ongoing). Those roads are Federal roads and built in partnership with Federal Government as guarantor for upfront funding. To me it's a great feat and commendable but it won't make sense to keep posting those 3 roads. Okorocha opened up the State and made sure all his benefactors invested mostly in the State thereby encouraging non-indigenes to invest more across sectors especially real estate, education and hospitality. I hope and pray Uzodinma will stop playing politics with development after winning his 2nd tenure in few months to come. Let his children, friends, business partners and allies pump trillions into the State via private investments as done by Okorocha and we'll see investor confidence recover . If you as a Governor deem your State unfit for investing your money then why should I invest mine?

This building I don't know if the owner is dead, for century it's just like this no renovation or touching. One big eyesore on the ambient.

This are individual effort, am hitching to see Federal or state projects, I don't know the benefit of Hope Uzodinma romancing Bubu for years for noting to show on ground.

Owerri is generally a slum, so it is expected

There was never a plan for them to work. Okorocha's entire time was the create and illusion he would use to 'run for president'
