truth be told he was golden in the u17 World Cup

A direct replica of John Obi Mikel in our youth teams but too light weight and lazy which I believe slowed he’s progression since he moved to Europe

Even one of the academy coaches in arsenal when Nwakali joined them said he doubt if the lad will make it to men’s football

He is technical and intelligent on the ball with good shooting and passing ability but lack that grit required in midfield by coaches of this era and that hv been he’s major issue

D grit can be provided by some one else in midfield dept…dt his intelligence is needed in dt our midfield..na wetin we Dey talk b dt ,

Unfortunately when we talk about his technicality and intelligence, only iwobi is at par ..in fact when it it comes to maneuvering himself with simple technique in tight spaces in d middle, nobody comes close

una don come? Nobody comes close where? 😳

Iwobi remains the most skillful and intelligent player we can boast of in midfield who can easily find a way out with he’s skills in tight corners

Nwakali hv never been a dribbler or AM but a deep lying playmaker in the mould of ex Italy maestro pirlo

Nwakali is very good at long balls, one touch short passes and through balls but not a dazzler

Football of this era requires hard working midfielders be it attacking or defensive ones

This part I don't get about the guy. Or he needs to hit the gym to bulk up ni? undecided

Time is running out for him because we're just a fantastic debut season away for either Eletu or Ebenezer forgetting about Nwakali as far as SE is concerned.

vindicated cus em join lowly rated Chaves wey fit relegate next season? In the portuguese league if u don’t play for porto, benfica, sporting and braga u re more or less in the same bracket with 2nd tier players in England,Spain,Germany and Italy 🤣🤣

Also aside the 4 top Portuguese clubs I mentioned others don’t pay well

At Chaves Nwakali is highly likely to earn below 10k euros weekly
Yes vindicated cuz I said better for him to join any division one team than Segunda league.

Nobody rate 2nd tier European leagues with Portugal league.Yes monetary wise England championship is ahead but generally, second tier leagues in Spain,Germany and Italy are not at par with Portuguese primera league.

Yes earning 10k euros weekly is cool based on what he earned in Segunda even Chuckwueze in la liga is earning poor wages,so to me is a good leap for him from Segunda to Portugal first tier league.

First question, moving from relegated Segunda team to Portugal league is what?hitting the gym?

All Nwakili need is right coach that will believe in him and shake things up.If he is not ambitious he would have put pen on paper for Santander in Segunda again,so let’s just wish the young man well, hope the deal works out.

Yes you are right on Eletu and Ebenezer but you know what,it is good having your players doing it in top tier leagues, having the likes of Alhassan,Onyedika,Eletu,Ebenezer,Nwakili,Frank Onyeka,Joe Aribo,Ndidi and Iwobi is a big plus for our midfield.

I saw Keshi,Yekini and Rufai in Alcon 84 team and the trios still made WC 94 team, infact Keshi made 82 Afcon while Rufai and Yekini made France 98 team….but to some our players don’t last in the game.

Hi egbon what I meant about hitting the gym is adding strength and weight to his physique so that he will have more grit and durability to withstand challenges which comes with the territory of being a midfielder.

Yes I'll be happy for Nwakali if he can go to Portugal to revive his career.

I never said it’s not a good move but using the word vindicated is a no for me

I will only accept that if he attracts a move away from Chaves after 1 or 2 seasons to any of Portuguese big clubs or midtable clubs in Spain,France, epl or Germany 🇩🇪

A move to Chaves which is a top flight team is just ok but not commendable to me. Even with such move getting invitation to the national team won’t be easy unless he’s putting out superb performances with mouth watering figures via goals and assist to show for it
