Wow! this is a big oversight. I did not realise that every child will be required to pay transmission fee since they did not do Biometrics. The information is not even on their site.

Please how can one rectify this now? Should one make the payments and send via chat. Luckily, they are yet to acknowledge reciept of the delivery by the Courier company.

I have 3 kids with passport requests and i did not pay the transmission fees. Please what are my options? I was thinking since I did Biometrics in Lagos, we wont need to pay the transmission fees for all 4 of us. How do i correct this guys? please!

Quickly pay the transmission fee for each child and send the payment receipts to canadang@vfsglobal.com

Just get there early. Ensure you go with your passport and payment receipt.

As for how long it takes, i think it depends. The average time is 5 hours depending largely on how early you get there

Okay , because I can easily pay it here in Germany but I just wanted to use my Nigeria account to pay since that is the account I plan using for my pof but anyway I think I will just pay it from here as long the receipt show my name and the account here is also my account.

Thanks

The visa office where you apply may have certain instructions on how and where to submit your passport and how to get your visa. Your passport will be stamped by the nearest Canadian consulate.

Can I apply outside my home country ?
If you are legally admitted to the country you are currently in, you can apply at your nearest visa application centre or you can also apply online.

I am currently outside my home country, can I do my biometrics in another country? Yes, you can go to any VAC – it doesn't have to be the VAC in your country of residence.
Nice please check your dm

Hi there!

Going to Québec? Send me a message let's connect. I could be of help.
By the way, please do contact KLM on phone to be sure of this info before it gets funny at the airport. Because, transiting in Paris CDG will require a transit visa; unless the rule has changed since may. I made indepth inquiries on it sometime in may.

Wishing you all the best! 😊

Thank you. I will do that right away

Whenever your passport is ready, you can submit immediately through courier.
You can use the ups office close to vfs at Lekki

But they gave me a deadline to submit by 30th of this month and i heard it takes 10days after submitting through ups for them to acknowledge that they have received my passport
My fear is by the time the passport is out the time of submitting and their acknowledgement will be too short.
That's my fear
That's why i need to find a way to have them extend my submission deadline if it's possible.
What do you think please?

Thank you Jesus
It's PPR for a family of 3
2 study visa and one SOWP

I want to appreciate everyone on this platform for Thier contributions. I used an agent for my application but I learnt a lot from this platform which really helped me.

Application date -31st of May 2023
PPR for parents - 14/07/2023
PPR for child. - 21/07/2023
We did upfront medicals but we still got medical requests. We sent the results to them again via webform

PPR for child was delayed because we submitted with his old passport that was supposed to expire by August, after submission the new passport came out and IRCC requested for his new passport which we later sent.

Thank you everyone for your contributions.
Wishing everyone who is expecting PPR a huge success.

It means your passport has been stamped and sent to VAC Abuja. If you sent your passport through VFS Lagos, then you wait a day or two to get another mail confirming your stamped passport has arrived VAC Lagos. When you receive this mail, you can proceed to VSF Lagos to pick up your passport between 12-2 pm.
scanice:
Hello Everyone,

Someone should please explain this. I am in Lagos and not Abuja, does it mean my passport is available for pickup and I can go for collection?

The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. 20230714CALAPKTxxxxx has been received from the IRCC Office on Thu Jul 20 2023 at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja CVO and is ready for collection. For details on the location and hours of operation of our VAC, please refer to our website at: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Nigeria. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do not reply to this email.
Your decision envelope will be returned to you via the courier service offered by the VAC. Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice. Please refer to the 'Buy Services' page of the VAC website for further information on courier services offered by the VAC
