My wife is the MA and i am the dependent, we have twin girls that are less than 2yrs old but i have a 13yrs daughter but wasn't married to her mother. My senior daughter has been living with us since 2yrs now and we plan to move together. We all submitted and did biometric on the 6th of July but we got this email below on the 19th July

The UK Decision Making Centre is currently assessing the application submitted by the above named. We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information.
Your application is being assessed under paragraph SW 30.1 to SW 30.2. The Immigration Rules require that the applicant’s parents must each be either applying at the same time as the applicant or have permission to be in the UK (other than as a visitor) unless:
(a) the parent with permission as a Skilled Worker is the sole surviving parent; or
(b) the parent with permission as a Skilled Worker has sole responsibility for the child’s upbringing; or
(c) the decision maker is satisfied that there are serious and compelling reasons to grant the child entry clearance or permission to stay with the parent who has permission as a Skilled Worker.
You have applied to join or accompany your father to the UK. You have stated your parents are separated but have not provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate that you meet points (a), (b) or (c) as above.
Please provide any further evidence, information or documents you would like to be considered in line with points (a), (b) or (c).
Please send these documents as a scanned attachment within 10 working days to WorkSponsoredDocumentRequests@ homeoffice.gov.uk quoting your application reference in the subject line. You should include English translations of any documents that are not in English or Welsh.
Please attach the document directly to the email as we are unable to access links to files hosted on sites such as DropboxTM or Google DriveTM.
If you do not contact us with further information, evidence or documents within the next 10 days your application will be considered based on the information and evidence already submitted and may be refused.


We submitted family photos, consent letter from her mother, birth certificate and other necessary documents. Please how can i handle this situation ? Will this delay the whole application or others can be issued theirs while they are waiting to hear from us? What is best to do in this kind of situation?

I hate it when people make errors like this. The main applicant is allowed to bring in her dependants i.e. husband and children . Getting married to a man doesnt make his children yours as well. Na 9ja mentalitybe dat. The young girl in question isn't her child and isn't qualified to travel as her dependant. You should have made her one before applying. You can't do anything about it as a dependant but your wife can plead her case with the home office. She may need to formally adopt eventually sha

Lol...one week?? No let ukvi give u hyoertension...Sadly...there is no time frame with ukvi once ur application is not straight forward .... but you can email them to ask because sometimes, they just forget pple's application

Greetings

Good afternoon, my wife ( MA )got a call from British high commission. The lady said she needs to pick up her passport and resubmit it again, that there was an error in the visa, when my wife ask what, the lady said she doesn’t need to know. We haven’t picked her passport yet cos we trying to use one trip to pick everybody’s own, so we waiting and hoping.

Later they called again that, no need to collect the passport, that they’ll retrieve it from TLS.

These people wants to finish me with anxiety oo !!! Please has anyone experienced such situation before ? Should I be worried ? Dependents visas are still not out as at today.

Pls make una help me with info to calm my anxiety.

Yes but later called again that, she shouldn’t pick it that they’ll retrieve it from TLS, get the issue fixed and get back to us. What could be wrong ? Do I need to be worried ? The dependent visas are still not out yet.

Haaaaa....i doubt they can refuse her after approving the visa shaaa....so no fear.... mayb they put another person vignette on ur wife's passport.... ukvi make mistakes alot...im surprised they even detect and recalled the passport from tls......its a good sign joor...

Its better this way oooo.....because if ukvi tell u to resubmit passport..before u go collect am...u go cry pepper

This whole process and waiting can make someone hypertensive ooo hahahahah ! I’m just praying and hoping all the visas will be out together this week. The anxiety is too much !

I saw one case of wrong vignette pasted on an applicant passport....so they told the person to resubmit because he has picked it up.......its this same september entry period where pressure is always high for them from tier 4, end of year vacation visa pple, and other visa types

I and my family submitted our biometrics on June 28th.
I have received my visa but the status of my dependents is still “application received by DMC”.
It was a standard visa application and today is the 24th working day.
Is it advisable to send an escalation email to ukvi?
