Sultan of Puna, what say you now?

After all, the wife is Igbo and the woman who snatched Yul is Igbo too.

So, if your women are so special like you said on Mr Ayeni's thread, how come Yul could cheat on May?
You kept praising Adaora for snatching the banker from his Yoruba wife because according to you, Igbo girls are better than Yoruba girls.

The same people shouting tribalism, marginalisation and bigotry like your lives depend on it o

The day you people will look in the mirror and realise that you are guilty of what you accuse others of, then maybe that's when you all will be healed.

Shalom!

Without prejudice, I believe the charge against Judy is not going to fly and hold water because it has long been settled by the Supreme court of Nigeria that a charge of adultery is not an offence known to law in the southern part of Nigeria.

The case of Aoko v. Fagbemi (1961) comes to mind.

100million is too small from that narcissist and chauvinist . He's making so much drama out of these mess he created instead of just signing the divorce paper in peace. He wants to eat his cake and have it, nonsense.
The 100 million is against Judy for committing adultery with May's husband.

He should have divorced her first then married Judy.
Judy will now have to pay May for this error.
Judy should have insisted that Yul divorce May first.
Single ladies should avoid men married under the 1970 marriage act except they see their divorce papers
What we don't understand is Nigeria get good laws. Culture, traditions and religion made us not to pursue the law when we need it.

All these male abracadabra is because women are too soft hearted cos of children in this part of the world and men has been taking that for granted.

May was silent and enduring until the ridicules started coming from these two.
How much can one endure to be termed good woman?

May is not alleging a second marriage.
She is alleging adultery, whether there is a second marriage or not. The child between July and Yul, the social media post of Yul announcing Judy as his wife without rebuttal from Judy, the live videos from Judy confirming that she is entangled with Yul are easy proof of adultery. May was very clever to be asking for N100m from Judy and not Yul. Judy might be going to jail if she cannot pay.

Read the case of Aoko v. Fagbemi (1961)... The Supreme court have long put it to rest that a charge of adultery is not an offence known to law in the southern part of Nigeria.

Oyinbo marriage is a big scam!
How many men sue their adulterous wife for a financial gain?!
If a woman is trying to force you to legally marry her in civil court, just RUN! It’s a huge RED FLAG! She doesn’t love you, but is trying to put shackles on you.
Paying her bride price should be enough for any decent woman.

Married women, know your worth.
Forget religion that doesn't favour you.
Very misogynistic.
Culture is what you make of it.

Children will look for their mum. They always do.
The same way they look for their dad.
Stop allowing men treat you like trash cos you are not one. Let them go and handle Nigeria they messed up.

In this game, everywhere in the world, women are protected.
I pray this case get publicity so Nigerian women will wake up.

I actually emphasis on this cos it's like a taboo in igboland to do this.

Igbo women have been enduring and smiling a lot.
That's why they always transfer aggression to poor housemaid especially in anambra.
All these onitsha traders that use their wives like toilet paper.

Take note of dates.

There is no section of the Marriage Act that provides that Adultery is an offence punishable in the southern nor northern part of Nigeria... Adultery is only one of the grounds that one can rely on for dissolution of marriage under the Matrimonial causes Act... The offence of Bigamy is generally a criminal offense, and it is governed by the Criminal Code of various southern states in Nigeria and the Penal Code of various northern states in Nigeria.

Section 370 of the Criminal Code Act states thus:

‘Any person who, having a husband or wife living, marries in any case in which such marriage is void by reason of its taking place during the life of such. husband or wife is guilty of a felony, and is liable to imprisonment for seven years’.

Its equivalent provision in the Penal code of Northern Nigeria is Section 384 subsection 1.

Looking at the above said provision of the law, the offence of Bigamy can only be charged or enforced against only the party that consented or convenanted under the marriage Act and not against a third party who one of the spouse had adultery with.

Section 35 of the Marriage Act only prohibits a person who is married under the Act to pursue any other marriage with anyone else save for the same person previously married under Act... it didn't make it an offence but only invalidate the later marriage.

The Act by date didn't repealed or set aside the Judgment made by the supreme court in Aoko v. Fagbemi... The Supreme court decision in Aoko v. Fagbemi still stand.

If you sell my broda Yul sef, you no go get N15 million. cheesy
Most Nollywood actors and actresses are really poor.
Their real pay is their popularity (ie public gra gra).

I used to somehow sympathize with this May Edochie, but not anymore.
She should simply move on.

But if I were Yul, I would have SINCE divorced her first, preempting all the processes and be the orchestrator of the whole process myself instead being at the receiving end of it, as is the case now. .

Yul seems to have too much conscience, and that is a serious baggage to carry while dealing with this type of a situation.
He is not a fool. He is just a man whose wife failed to live up to whatever expectations he had, and inadvertently pushed him into the hands of another woman.
He is trying to please both women at the same time, and that is a mistake.
Whatever made him sleep with Judy Austin is STRONG (if YUL were a wayward loafer he would not get to the height of being arguably among the best actors of his class in Nollywood).
And he impregnated her a SECOND time. Figure that.
Such things happen frequently, but most men of these days simply keep such women and children outside of the marriage till they die, and then all hell breaks lose as the wife finds out that she and her kids must share the man's assets .

This case will force a change in how men contract marriage in Igboland.
I mean SMART men may no longer be in a hurry to wed.
The future is the great unknown. It is foolish to tie your hands.
This thing called "love" under which foundation such marriages are contracted is controversial at best and unpredictable at worst.
Going by love, a man can COMFORTABLY love more than one woman.
A woman may struggle to LOVE more than one man, but then that is why they are women, and not men.
If you think you understand men on the fundamental level, you need to go and watch how the MOTILE male gametes (sperms) swim to the STATIC female egg. That process tells you what nature expects of the sexes.

May Edochie wants a divorce and he has refused to give her.
100million naira is too small for the emotional pain he has put her through.

Nice one May Edochie.

She can’t sue him for committing adultery and that is not what this lawsuit is about.

He is suing for divorce and the cause she is pleading is adultery.

She is suing Judy for damages, having been the person who caused the breakdown of her marriage. If Judy can prove that, the marriage was already shacky, she walks without paying a dime.

Once respected celebrity is now being ridicule by the majority of his fans.
I used to held Yul in high esteem, his use of English, his posture always command respect.
