You asked a very interesting question running through the mind of many youth of this country Nigeria survival in this present day Nigeria if you look at every avenue to raise fund for start up no one is favourable, you work to raise fund frustration sets in due to habits of some employers these factors led some youths to tread the paths they later regret in the nearest future.

Nigeria is not designed for hardworking people. No matter how hard you work, there's something that will be dragging you back, be it epileptic power supply, multiple taxation or thieves disguised as employees.

Many rich Nigerians you see riding cars and owning multiple buildings made money through fraud. Politicians, company staff and bank managers down to the cleaners and security men are into one fraud or another.

And you as a jobless man is wondering why there are few job opportunities. There are fewer jobs because your fellow Nigerians are killing and choking life out of the available companies established by real local and foreign entrepreneurs through extreme fraud.

And that's the reason many establishments collapsed before 5 years of their existence.
You write very well, man. Punctuations, Caps and non caps, paragraphs, all top notch.
Kudos.

I know some people will come for me , for spitting the truth. The truth is in Nigeria of today, it is rare to see a rich man that do not cut corner ranging from lieing to make more profit in a deal, contractor buying inferior materials just to make more profit, fuel station manager tampering with meter, bankers stealing with pen . In a nutshell, 99.8% of Nigerian adults are thieves, the rest 0.2% are still children😎😎😎

At this point I don't care where advice comes from. I just want to escape this sector of life where I feel entrapped.

I believe life can be better for me and I can make it better for others too (hopefully).
Since I don't have a rich person to mentor me, I am staying up all night to listen to and analyze all the respons I get on this thread

God bless Nairaland

I owe you an apology. My answer was quite arrogant.
Also let me commend you for you question. It maybe the single most important question that all Nigerians need to ask.
But then, I was not wrong. Would you ask a question about Newton's law of motion to your Yoruba teacher? No. You would rather ask your physics teacher.
I also commend you determination. You stay up reading and analyzing responses. But then, imagine spending the same energy on the right source of information.
Your question is not meant for everyone. Only those who have overcome poverty can show you the path.
I would love to reach out to you in a month from now to see how far you have gone on your journey to overcoming poverty. I wish you the best and I hope you never fall by the way or give up in your pursuit of wealth.
Please ignore all my initial responses and once again accept my apology.

My Gee I hold nothing against you. On the path to finding the accurate information, it's normal to come across different ideas.

Your answer might have been crude but it still holds a truth. No one has directly claimed to be rich on the thread but some inferred it. It's upto me analyze the information on the thread and work on it.

Just like one artist said in his song "Dakun jeun soro, I dey street I dey hustle like bolor". You have to constantly be in touch with the street.

The street manifest in different forms, the internet is a street too and many more areas. You have to be in constant touch. BUT NOTHING IS GUARANTEED, regardless, one has to keep trying.

This is what I usually tell people.

So you got to the post of MD and you couldn't fortify yourself. I'm even more concerned about how you got to MD Level. That means you have been very lucky or perhaps your mother's prayers have been protecting you all the while.

You think your downlines workers are joking with you lol. Some of them are eyeing your position and they want you out by all means. Some of them have powerful occultic parents/friends whom they will take your matter to. Seems you don't know Nigerians.

Esu and Water Demons are the Sole owner of Wealth and Fame.

All the Africa Dieties are still very much alive.

You can never make it BIG from the Scratch as a nobody ordinarily in Nigeria. NEVER!!!

Even most of those White People you see are into Occultism and Spiritualism and they are way advanced than the rest of the world.

Rubbish. Total rubbish.

Many Nigerians are interested in learning how to make money. Only few are interested in learning how to manage money.

Money management is more important than money making

Riches comes from "RISK" taking. Be it legit or illegit risk taking.

HERE IS THE FORMULA FOR WEALTH (for someone that's coming from ground zero)

1. Take a calculated risk to make money.

2. Use that money to take more risk for more money.

Then

3. Live below your means.

That's the formula. You will be rich forever!

To make money in Nigeria, you must visit a babalawo or Dibia and do Okeite or awele, and money will be Falling
Na be wetin you do?

A young man ask a wise question and 99% of comments are filled with dumb replies... It clearly shows how sick most Nigeria youths are.

Op, there many legitimate ways to get rich. You see them around you but you don't pay attention to them.
A wise man once said "Success is not by doing bigs things, but by building on small things."
You can become rich by doing that hairdressing, poultry, farming, fishing, taxi, metal/plastic recycling, dry-cleaning, POS, gala selling, food vendors etc... You just have to build on your little success and enlarge your capacity together with a strong sense of discipline.

Why calling the OP names…Contrary, I think the OP is smarter than you for coming to the level of thinking in this direction. Once you have come to the stage of thinking in this line, trust me you have start evolving beyond the average human level of thought, and that is directing you toward seeking the actual things in life that matter most…not liquid cash.

Go read the book of ecclesiastics and see Solomon line of thoughts. At a point he ask himself, what is man that God care for, just a mere man…Isaac Newton discovered gravity by questioning why a mango fell off downward from the tree and not upward..wright brothers question how a bird have the ability to fly, and replicated it on the first aeroplane, Elon Musk is questioning why humans can’t live anywhere else other than Earth…he’s got a project on moving humans to Mars…I can go on and on..so please don’t belittle people self awareness questions

You ask about work son. not money. Greed request is what that was. Solomon was already a wise man before he asked for wisdom. It takes wisdom to ask for wisdom.

People who make inquest for money are greedy humans
