Don't be deceived by those rubbish economic crises. Countries like that have huge funds for war
And you think their corrupt leaders will want to use thesame fund on aimless war that won't bring anything good. The best they can do is for all the remaining ones without military rulers should just take precautions inorder to avoid such from happening again.

Tinubu must not allowed his Yoruba people to deceive him. Na mouth them get, once the real war start now, they will chicken out.
Very unfortunate lazy coward tribe

The day he sends soldiers to Niger Republic ingnoring a the warnings from Northern elders and senators his government will be toppled in Nigeria..

He dey dia dey flex muscle forgetting if heavy sanction impose on his country they are finish I think he is comparing himself to Russia which still standing despite heavy sanction.

Ecowas depend on America and France to eliminate Niger. Shame on you people. Ecowas is still slave to Western world and needed their support. Let me also see if some countries won’t ally with Niger too. Last last, war will break and who will suffer the more, Northern Nigeria and Wasted States

In war situations like this, real leaders don't listen to cheap emotional citizens saying we don't need war. Ecowas leaving the coupist to remain in power is more dangerous than ousting them.

That's in a situation where the people truly enjoy the dividend of democracy. Democratic rule has impoverished Africa the more. Leaders hold on to power till eternity continually enriching their generation in the name of democracy. Have you been to Niger? Abject poverty is evident, the economy is suffering. The military gave obvious reasons for overturning the govt. Discard all these your turunshi and let's look at reality on ground.

Military took over and the people are celebrating. What does that connote? ECOWAS can do nothing. Even the chairman of the body's country is currently in shamble. Did you see how small business are packing up, people loosing jobs because movement is difficult, student dropping out to hike in school fees,. See ehn if situation continues this way srilanka will be child's play.

Let me refresh our memories. Who thought in his wildest dream that lagosian would invade oba of Lagos's sacred palace and chased him out. When people say so so things can't happen in Nigeria I just laugh.

The Niger military with a combined force of less than 15,000 boots including Airforce personnel isn't up the 82 composite Division Enugu, 3 Armoured Div Jos, 81 Division Lagos Garrison Command. They can't withstand Land and Air forces of the Nigerian and Ecomog forces. The after-effect of the military action is the reason for caution. Let's not add the 1st Division in Kaduna and 2nd Division in Oyo.

This is a poor analysis. Your primary concern should be if the people of Niger want any external intervention. From what we have seen so far, they love their new rulers. Is any external intervention therefore necessary? It will only end up like the fruitless war in Afghanistan where America never had the support of locals.

A wild goose chase this is going to turn out.

This is the situation.

Nigeria is poised to start the supply of Gas to Europe, who will pay billions in $$$ for this favour. Russia, who just cut off their Gas supply to Europe would do everything to thwat Europe's plan to get Gas from Nigeria by gaining control over countries along the path of the Gas pipeline from Warri Nigeria, supplying Europe. Niger is the perfect country for Russia to distabilize in order to jeopardize the Gas project.

For Russia, its pay back. For Nato, its survival. Winter is coming and Europe will need Nigerian Gas to power their heat systems. For Tinubu, its about making billions from the Gas deal, anything that would stand in the way of this deal, Tinubu will destroy. All of these will come at the expense of the lives and properties in Northern Nigeria. So expect a war in the scale of the Russia and Ukraine war in that region. if the war starts and is sustained for months, don't be suprised if the Gas terminal at Warri is bombed by Russian Drones. When this war begins, it will be difficult to stop....Now is the time to stop it by all means. But my thought is that the powers behind Tinubu are so strong, he cannot call the shots, he cannot stop the war even if he wants to. Europe will freeze to death during the winter if they don't get the Gas from Nigeria. When lives in Europe are threatened, NATO will flex its muscles...i just hope Nukes will not be deployed...God abeg na your hand we dey.
That Gas project to Europe is still in the works. They would still have to pass the pipeline through Niger to Algeria which cannot be immediately done this year. So I don't understand this your story.
