same thing was said about Russia and Ukrane war. Let wait to see how this war you guys are clamoring for will go.

Na how many flights dey pass Niger airspace?

A lot of the flights coming from Europe to Nigeria and countries further south like South Africa go over Niger. I checked flightradar 24 last night after hearing the news and all the European airlines coming to and fro Lagos and Abuja were routed via Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali avoiding Niger airspace. Even saw a British Airways flight coming from South Africa to London made a u turn very close to Niger and headed back to South Africa.

when will ECOWAS invade guinea, Burkina Faso, mali why are they silent over those countries

That was the mistake the neighbouring countries of those coupist made. They were lackadaisical and this made the coupist emboldened. The whole Ecowas should have invaded Guinea first when that coup happened. Others wouldn't have had the guts to dethrone legitimate government. But this is the start, when Niger republic is done with, others "might" follow

That's in a situation where the people truly enjoy the dividend of democracy. Democratic rule has impoverished Africa the more. Leaders hold on to power till eternity continually enriching their generation in the name of democracy. Have you been to Niger? Abject poverty is evident, the economy is suffering. The military gave obvious reasons for overturning the govt. Discard all these your turunshi and let's look at reality on ground.

Forget all those protest you are seeing. They are all sponsored by the juntas. They now control media

When this war start and it starts affecting the Northern part of the country that borders Niger. Let the Govt go and build IDP camps for them in Kwara, Ogun, Osun, and other SouthWest State. We don't need IDP camp in East to host any Almajiri.

The war is inevitable. Many countries have their interest to protect n unfortunately the Nigeriens are the baits. Nigeria interests are our pipeline to Europe n to protect our democracy by sending signals to military peoples against coup . Andt to cement our Lordship on West Africa
Niger interest is anything against France n their uranium and other resources must be used for their development.
France benefits is to protect her interest n prevent similar experience of Mali on her other neocoloniali countries. Losing Mali Gold is a serious slap to them n can't avoid to lose Niger if not France economy will collapsed. As there is no France without Africa.
European countries interest is cheap n alternative gas from Nigeria n to cut the power of Putin.
Russia and Putin interes is Nigeria gas must not enter o Europe. And Niger is a testing ground. And another opportunity is Uranium that is abundant in Niger.
West Africa countries interest. To protect their democracy. Their corrupt leaders must be in power and successful military taking over is a serious prob to them. They can lose Niger like Mali, Bukina Faso, Guinea.
Africa leaders benefits. No military coup again in Africa but their is problem of neocoloni that is eating deep under democracy.

I'm expecting a serious set back from Nigerians especially the Northerners. The southern part of Niger is semi Nigeria by origin, cultures , Language, marital, social n financial. Many of our corrupt leaders from North invest heavily in Niger. War in Niger is directly against their interest. Till today, Niger without crude oil has functional refineries

The point here is that the citizens are even happy with the military take over because there democracy is nothing to write home about

Which citizen told u they want military rule? Children of propaganda will not seize to amuse undecided
Just because a handful of people sponsored by junta protest international interference, so the whole over 20 million people living in Niger want the coupists? Or u are expecting the citizens to troop out and protest against these brutal military coupists, so that they can use them to count scores? What is going on in Niger is a tribal issue where 20% is trying to dominate the rest bcs they control the military and power. Pure tribal and has nothing to do with poor governance. Pls get information. undecided
Of what benefits is democracy to the citizens, as far as I am concerned democracy is not designed for sub Saharan Africa. Perhaps will they go to war with other west Africa countries that are experiencing the same military (coup) rule. There is something special about Niger that the west world see in them that actually want ECOWAS countries to fight the country. I will always remember Gadafi how the west purged the citizens against him, now they are feeling it

This is the situation.

Nigeria is poised to start the supply of Gas to Europe, who will pay billions in $$$ for this favour. Russia, who just cut off their Gas supply to Europe would do everything to thwat Europe's plan to get Gas from Nigeria by gaining control over countries along the path of the Gas pipeline from Warri Nigeria, supplying Europe. Niger is the perfect country for Russia to distabilize in order to jeopardize the Gas project.

For Russia, its pay back. For Nato, its survival. Winter is coming and Europe will need Nigerian Gas to power their heat systems. For Tinubu, its about making billions from the Gas deal, anything that would stand in the way of this deal, Tinubu will destroy. All of these will come at the expense of the lives and properties in Northern Nigeria. So expect a war in the scale of the Russia and Ukraine war in that region. if the war starts and is sustained for months, don't be suprised if the Gas terminal at Warri is bombed by Russian Drones. When this war begins, it will be difficult to stop....Now is the time to stop it by all means. But my thought is that the powers behind Tinubu are so strong, he cannot call the shots, he cannot stop the war even if he wants to. Europe will freeze to death during the winter if they don't get the Gas from Nigeria. When lives in Europe are threatened, NATO will flex its muscles...i just hope Nukes will not be deployed...God abeg na your hand we dey.
if this your scaring projections are the right position of things, then the situation is really complicated.
but tinubu must place emphasis on the stability of Africa, especially Nigeria instead of making himself a willing tool in the hand of the selfish western powers, who has proven severally that, African lives doesn't matter to them.
moreover the northerners will never support the Nigeria government, fighting their kinsmen in Niger republic .
#no war in Niger .

In war situations like this, real leaders don't listen to cheap emotional citizens saying we don't need war. Ecowas leaving the coupist to remain in power is more dangerous than ousting them.
