But sir someone said that even if you have a registration of birth NIS doesn't take it for people born from 1900 something till 1990 someone needs the declaration of age from the court and gets it stamped. That the one that is accepted is the NPC green version Birth Certificate for people born from 1991 till date. Can you confirm this?

It is still very posible for one to get that green one from NPC without any alterations, there's how they do it.

We captured on the 8th of June at shagamu without stress and the man call us on Tuesday 1st Aug that we could come for pick up on Thursday. 3rd but no time to go yet. So that's less than 2 months at sagamu office.

Hey, you captured February 16th so you are the best one to go check out. As it stands, if you go for your passport today, you ve got a better chance of getting your passport than not getting it.

Leave the NIN integration and verification for the Nigeria Immigration Service and the National Identity Management Commission. But make sure there's no disparity between the data you provided in the application form and NIN.

My passport expiry is actually end of this year but I want to start processing for renewal from now as I don't want to experience any lag (not having a valid passport when I might need it the most)

I want to do DIY since there's no rush, and to save cost too. Already filled the form online and chose Ikoyi as processing office but yet to pay.

I contacted someone to find out if the Festac new PCO accepts fast tracking but the person said no, that he is focusing on clearing up the backlogs, which is also a very good thing, the person said they are rounding up February and entering March and that I should be patient that he will get to April soon as he is not allowing Fast tracking. I don't know how true this is but please anyone that has plan to go to Festac should find out.

This is hilarious for a giant state like Lagos delaying the process. Imagine since February the passports are not ready not to mention March, April, May, June and July.
No matter the high number of applicants it shouldn't be that worse.
