What is Home Automation?

Home automation is one of several areas of the IOT (internet of things), and is often called Home IOT.
Home automation or domotics is building automation for a home, called a smart home or smart house. It involves the control and automation of lighting etc –
There are three distinct levels of home automation.

Monitoring
Control
Automation

Monitoring
The ability to view status of systems i.e
What is the temperature?
Is the door locked?
Is The Light on or off

Control
The ability to change the state of a systems i.e
Turn up the heating.
Lock the Door
Turning the light on or off
Automation

The ability to change the state of a system automatically in response to an event. i.e.

Turn on the heating if the outside temperature falls below a certain temperature.
Turn the lights off when no one is a home.

Smart Home System Components

If you consider smart home automation consisting of three layers as shown in the schematic below with devices at the bottom end and networking devices in the middle and control applications at the top:

You don't create an enabling environment for businesses ,thousands has lost their jobs in just two months of your tyrannical hopeless leadership and you are celebrating tax nonesence.

It either the presidency is mad or dumb.

The Presidency is actually quite alright. Bola Tinubu is literally the one portraying those traits you listed.

Uncle even secondary school students know that we generate either oil or non oil revenue and we are massively exposed to oil price fluctuations due to our overdependence on oil exports.

Over time, the massive inefficiencies in tax collection hasn't been addressed hence the reason for this committee.

Of course, efforts are underway to diversify the economy especially in government funding agricultural and industrial expansion but all these efforts will remain in vein if your tax system is porous and still has numerous loopholes which can be exploited. I'm sure you know that the success story of Lagos compared to most other states is because of their effective tax system where even pure water sellers on the road pay some for of tax daily in the name of ticket. Whether 80% of the Lagos tax is used for the Lagos people or shared by the big boys is a topic for discussion another day.
Stay on the issue at hand. Google Myrtle Beach South Carolina. They have used blue economy to generate huge fortune. Do you know how many people are benefiting from the set up.
Under that situation you can now talk about tax and people will GLADLY pay because they know you know what”s up.
Google the natural resources found in Switzerland, compare that with the natural resources found only in NORTHERN NIGERIA. Check their GDP and compare it with Nigeria’s GDP.
No be only secondary school students, a baby still in the womb knows that diversifying the economy has nothing to do with your long essay. Your first paragraph gave you away!

Of all the constricting problems in Nigeria today, it is a tax reforms committee that is most important to a drug baron president. Today he said only FIRS should collect tax. Remember his infamous statement; "Take away their purchasing power........?

Stop advising Jagaban....you are inconsequential.
Advise the third class pathological liar.

Tinubu is a disgrace to Yorubaland. He's living large on our country resources with his family and the only thing he can use his thieving head to think is how to make life difficult for Nigerians.

So what's your point exactly? Because you're not making any sense if you don't see the need for the tax reforms and why this should be given the priority that this government has rightly accorded it!

You're just blowing hot air. How can you be talking of blue economy when the fundamentals of your economy are in dire need of repair? Don't just come online to form intelligence and instead expose your ignorance.

Diversifying the economy without fixing the tax system is akin to going to the stream to fetch water with a bucket full of holes.

There is a place for economic diversification of course in the economic reforms the government plans as this will widen the tax base but first things first the tax system has to be functional and efficient. This is simple common sense.

Check all your post, trying hard to sound smart.
COMMON SENSE, secondary school students… it is called “diffusion”.
There is something called order. If you think the first thing to do is to focus on tax when the country is on fire…have fun bro!

This is not about sounding smart because it's just plain common sense. Arguing to the contrary is just crass ignorance honestly.

The country is on fire because the country is broke and you need money to fix it.

The country does not have money to fix the country because the tax system is faulty. That is why it needs to be accorded the utmost importance.

Also please try and understand what tax reforms are all about because you seem to think these reforms are about increasing taxation on the citizenry which may not necessarily be so. There is urgent need for a total overhaul of our tax system if we want to get it right going forward as a country and that would involve addressing all the leakages in the system, as well as reviewing all the charges currently imposed (eg tariffs for imported items which In some cases are ridiculously high fuelling inflation and encouraging smuggling) with view to identifying if they are effective or not as well as the problem of multiple taxation for businesses which is impeding economic growth in the country. That is why in my first post I said I'm in support PROVIDED IT IS PROPERLY DONE.

Carry on Mr. President.
This is a President the children of hates and perdition claimed he cannot spend a month without recharging his battery. Funny set of people. But he has been meeting people of timber and calibre including meeting of the International organisations including leading of the ECOWAS. We never had such a busy President before unlike the previous one that always felt shock after the damage had been done.
With time, I believe Jagaban is truly an intelligent man.
Infact, Obi cannot do half of the President is doing right now nor Atiku.
That Obi is just daft and empty upstairs if he's critically examined.
Oya let the attack begin. It's in their gene.
Headless mofos.
