Ok, so Yesterday, MA got his e-mail for pick up and this morning got his BRP Mail. My application and that of my 2 sons moved to VAC this morning. So we are good to go to the glory of God.

Our application was not perfect but the Mercy of God prevailed.

I trust God that we will all share our testimonies soon in Jesus Name! Keep checking your trackers!

Congratulations. We did biometrics on August 2. My husband's own just moved to VAC. Mine is still at DMC. I cannot check the Children's own as we forgot their password.

Hey guys.. I know one can drive in the UK with their Nigerian driver's license for about a year before they'll need one from the UK.
My License recently got expired and I applied for a new one. They've given me a temporal license with a one year duration and they're saying the plastic one will be out in two months. I would have left Nigeria by then 😭😭😭

Please will I still be allowed to drive in the UK with that my temporal Nigerian driver's license??

You can also send an email to them to make your booking. That was how I did mine.

You can make it. You'll need a lot of money to pay for priority and expensive ticket. Start the journey and pray.

For context note that there is usually a last date to resume which can vary but I have seen up to 3 weeks after the official resumption date, so the ECO may also look at that in granting you a visa. Ensure to keep your school informed on your application.

Now what can you do to improve the speed and success rate of your application?

1. Choose Flexi for a standard application to get a closer date for biometrics
2. Pay for Priority (5 days) or Super Priority Visa (1 day) decision; please note that if you suspect your application won't be straightforward, you may want to rethink this as you may not get a response within the promised time
3. Ensure to include all the supporting documents to reduce the possibility of an NSF

Some of the major things that can lead to an NSF?
1- Financial Documents - Insufficient balance or delayed response from your financial institution; a fake document will most likely lead to outright rejection and or ban
2 - Unexplained study gap if more than 5 years; if you have more than 5 years then include all relevant employment letters / promotion letters for the period.
3 - Previous Visa Rejection Not reported - please report it sincerely; I have not seen anyone rejected for stating previous visa rejections. Note that a visa rejection is not the same thing as a ban; the latter is a different ballgame
4 - Previous Travels to sanctioned countries - they might want to know what you want there to do
5 - Not uploading the required documents

I recommend you read the first page of the thread to get more details on the necessary documents required; if you have any challenges filling out the visa application forms then you can share screenshots (hide private details) here and there are experts here who are thankfully sacrificing their time to assist us.

I had a similar issue but I had left for Sweden
Solution: I asked someone to help me bring it to Sweden. There will always be people going to UK even more than Sweden. Since it's a simple card, there's no fear of carrying banned substances. Otherwise, you can tell them to send it by courier (expensive).

PS: There's a low likelihood that you'll be driving in UK a month after arrival so don't worry so much.

But when I went through my application form again, I found out that I actually tick YES
What should I do now. My POF is for me alone and my kids documents are not ready.

Please advice

We’re in the same shoes. Just make sure your cas is out before your pof mature date to avoid any delay. And pick flexi for biometric to get a quick biometric day and if you can afford priority you should go ahead if not hope your application is straightforward so it comes out on time.
