As a travel freak, I often ask people why they don’t travel or go on vacation. Some of the replies I get each time is, it’s either they don’t have enough money or the difficulties they experience in getting a visa to travel abroad. Do you know there are over forty countries in the world that you can travel to with your Nigerian passport that doesn’t require a visa? Yes! You heard me right. Antigua and Barbuda = Electronic Entry Visa Bangladesh = Visa on arrival = 30 days Barbados = Visa not required = 6 months Benin = Visa not required = 90 days Burkina Faso = Visa not required Cambodia = Visa on arrival= 30 days Cameroon = Visa not required = 90 days Cape Verde = Visa not required Chad = Visa not required = 3 months Comoros = Visa on arrival Côte d’Ivoire = Visa not required Djibouti = Visa on arrival Dominica = Visa not required Fiji = Visa not required = 4 months Gabon = eVisa= Electronic visa Gambia = Visa not required Ghana = Visa not required Guinea = Visa not required Guinea-Bissau =Visa not required Iran = Visa on arrival = 30 days Kenya= eVisa= 3months Lesotho = eVisa Liberia =Visa not required Madagascar =Visa on arrival = 90 days Maldives = Visa on arrival = 30 days Mali = Visa not required Mauritania = Visa on arrival Mauritius =Visa on arrival Micronesia = Visa not required Mozambique =Visa on arrival = 30 Days Nicaragua = Visa on arrival = 30 days Niger = Visa not required Palau = Visa on arrival= 30 days Rwanda = Visa on arrival =30 days Saint Kitts and Nevis =Visa not required = 3 months Samoa = Entry Permit on arrival = 60 days São Tomé and Príncipe = eVisa Senegal = Visa not required = 90 days Seychelles = Visitor’s Permit on arrival = 3 months Sierra Leone = Visa not required Tanzania = Visa on arrival Timor-Leste = Visa on arrival= 30 days Togo = Visa not required Vanuatu = Visa not required = 30 days Zambia = eVisa Zimbabwe = eVisa Source Travelwaka List of Other Visa free countries for Nigerians 3 Likes

Investmentfreak: All you need to do is if it's visa free country, you just travel and get your passport stamped while if it's a visa on arrival you get your visa when you get to your location. 2 Likes |

Bigsamnaira: Which country is your guest coming from? If its Europe, as it was in my case, i got a Police Character Certificate ( PCC ), took it for certification at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then took it also for legalization at the embassy in Abuja and then sent a scanned copy of that PCC and my international passport to my guest and his Nigerian visa was approved. 1 Like |

Are you sure Lesotho is evisa because if you enter Lesotho you already have access to South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland and Namibia. And you need to apply for a visa to SA. Well I will make enquiries about that though I have visited Lesotho from SA. A very small country that is like in the outskirt of SA. 2 Likes |

andrew444:firstly,you seem to be stalking my comments.Secondly A Ghanaian passport allows you visa free or visa on arrival to 64 countries worldwide including advanced Singapore, all the beautiful countries in the Caribbean,Bolivia,Ecuador,South Africa,Philippians,Indonesia,India, beautiful Seychelles,Mauritius and over 30 African countries, among other countries compared to Nigeria's 45 countries and which Nigeria passport does not have, thirdly, our passport is among top ten most powerful and respected passport in Africa whilst yours is among the least respected and least powerful passports.,fourthly these visas are not mearnt for resident and work permits buh purposely for visits, tourism and business meetings so even a British will pass through the same channels that a Syrian will use to acquire work and residence permit in the USA although it's visa free for 90 days for a British passport to the US.And Europe is not the only definition of developed country.Have you heard of the Asian tigers? 1 Like |

Rozyconcept: Nigeria has the market but if you are ready to learn a new language (French), then you may want to try Abidjan in Cote d'Ivoire bearing in mind that the cost of living is slightly higher than that of Nigeria. |

Oga OP, Strike Barbados off your list. You need a transit visa through UK or Frankfurt Germany to get there. Also, expect to get grilled at the point of entry. Been there, done that. |

Datakey: Apply through the embassy. The processing time is faster compared to regular visa. You will need to show - Your valid passport - Ticket reservation - Visa or residency permit of your final destination - Travel insurance 1 Like 1 Share |
