1) where does dependant come in.
2) Do the dependant also apply for resident permit alongside the main applicant?
3) Secondly, would the dependant be needed to be present during interview?
1) during resident permit application
2) They apply together, there is a code that is sent to the dependants which they attach while applying to show that they are dependants and not the main applicants. (When you reach this stage, you'll understand)
3) Yes dependants are also interviewed but on a separate day, after the main applicant has been interviewed. If you have kids, get ready for a DNA test too.

Introduction
Vocational studies serve as a vital pathway for individuals seeking specialized skills and hands-on experience in their desired career fields. This essay outlines the reasons why I am motivated to apply for vocational study at Vamia School, highlighting the unique opportunities it offers and its alignment with my personal and professional goals.

Reasons for Applying to Vamia School
Firstly, Vamia School's reputation for excellence in vocational education makes it an ideal institution for me. The school's commitment to providing comprehensive and industry-relevant programs ensures that students receive the necessary knowledge and practical skills to excel in their chosen fields. This resonates with my aspiration to acquire practical expertise that will enable me to enter the job market with confidence.

Secondly, Vamia School's curriculum emphasizes a hands-on approach, which is crucial to me. The opportunity to engage in real-world projects and internships will allow me to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This practical exposure will be instrumental in preparing me for the challenges and demands of the professional world.

Furthermore, Vamia School's strong industry connections and collaborations with local businesses greatly appealed to me. These partnerships provide students with valuable networking opportunities and potential employment prospects. By studying at Vamia School, I will be able to establish industry contacts and build a professional network, which will be advantageous for my future career growth.

Additionally, Vamia School's supportive learning environment and experienced faculty make it an attractive choice. The school's commitment to individualized attention and mentorship will enable me to receive personalized guidance and support throughout my educational journey. This nurturing atmosphere will foster my personal and academic development, ensuring that I reach my full potential.

Conclusion
In conclusion, my decision to apply for vocational study at Vamia School is driven by its outstanding reputation, practical approach to learning, industry connections, and supportive environment. I firmly believe that Vamia School will provide me with the necessary skills and experiences to thrive in my chosen field. I am excited about the prospect of joining Vamia School and embarking on a transformative educational journey that will lay a strong foundation for my future professional success.

Like i said, when you get to that step it'll b easy to understand..
To answer your question,
Yes you'll be applying together, but would be filling different forms on enterfinland using a code that unifies all 3 applications...
If your marriage legalization is not completed, Only the main applicant (student) would be given permit.

Hello ma,

I have been going through this thread and I will say you have been trying your best to answer all questions without insult or harsh response... God bless u...
My question is on this legalization of certificate; I understand marriage certificate and birth certificate is to legalized in the ministry of foreign affairs while educational certificates should be done in ministry of education.. but
1 . do you have idea how much it will cost to get this things done?

2. Must we travel to Abuja to get all these things done or it can be process in Lagos

3. At what point do we need the legalized documents? Before applying for Admission or after we have gotten the admission and we want to put in study permit application or RP as the case may be?

4. You mentioned €220 in on of your post, to be paid to Finnish embassy in Abuja or VFS is this payment for the all documents or per document.
Outstandingmam:

Legalization is for marriage certificate and birth certificates if you're going with your family.

1. 300k should do. As of august, VFS and embassy uses N871.5 /€ , and you'll pay a combined total of €250, thats 200k+. Then add MOFA and MOE costs.
2. It must be in Abuja, but someone can do it for you. Although, i'll advice you go there yourself, especially the VFS
3. Needed when applying for R.P. but you can and is advisable to start early ( even before admission if you are you'll scale through the adminission process)
4. You pay €220 to VFS for legalization and its one one document you are legalizing (marriage cert.), then you also pay another €30 to the embassy.

I also applied to Vamia college. I pray to get accepted. The only issue I have with the residence permit issued for vocational school is that, it’s residence permit B, which doesn’t count towards permanent residence, unlike residence permit A which is given when you’re studying in a university to get a degree, and A counts towards permanent resident.

Residence permit given for vocational school is permit B which doesn’t count towards permanent residency unlike Permit A that starts counting the day you resume your degree program be it bachelors, masters or phd. You can switch to work permit after your vocational program if you can secure a job, the work permit will count towards permanent residence. I hope this information helps.

You cannot switch from residence permit B to A on the grounds of studies if you’re already there for studies. But you can switch when you secure a job after your vocational studies.

You can switch to a BSC as long as you’re done with the vocational school. But I don’t know how the residence permit switch will work in this situation. Maybe someone that is more enlightened can expatiate on this matter. Why don’t you want to work with your vocational certificate? That certificate makes you job ready, you might easily get a job in your field, even before you finish your studies and then switch to both residence permit A. Think about it. My 2 cents.

Not like I don't want to work, I'm only looking at the 5yrs plan towards citizenship and the vocational studies count only as 1.5yrs that's if I get an A permit or P permit. So I'm looking at the option of a degree since that's a guaranteed A permit. But if I will get a job why not I'm down for it as far as its going to land me an A permit or P permit. I hope you understand my view now ma/sir.
