I'd stay with the private sector for the following reasons ...

1. The pay is better, if you save that extra 150k every month for a year you can use that cash to do something productive ...

2. The private sector will over work you,so you'll more or less grow very quickly in that field, that knowledge will prove invaluable if you intend to start a business related to your job description ...

3. The fact that the private sector doesn't have job security means that you'll have to think of a way to secure your own future ...

Believe it or not, there's just something about discomfort that makes a man think ... If you're too comfortable you can't grow ...

It's just my personal opinion sha ...

This is all part of corruption and is one of the reasons why Nigeria is having it difficult to progress

No big salary .. they’re extorting other Nigerians like u.. Passport takes 6months because of bribe. Drivers licences takes 6months because of bribe.
Minus wayo and bride, govt jobs in most Naija ministries and parastatals no make sense

No, that would be dumb. Assuming there's upward mobility at your job, there's more money to be made long term. Even if there isn't if you're tired of the job, you could quit after finding a better position. A savy person would save and invest their money. The compounding effect of your money works better when you're earning and saving more. You can take whatever skills you learn at work into your own business later.

Tankio. Most Naija folks dont understand the time value of money.. why would u take N150k/mon paycut ..N1.8m/yr in order to work in a fed establishment where your chances of becoming a dept head are very slim?
