OkpaNsukkaisBae:I didn't fail to tell you any such. The man in question lived over 2000 years ago, and records on Him do not definitively state the date of His birth or of His death for that matter. So, to conclude one knows the exact number of years He lived is of error. Be reminded that the man, Jesus Christ, was of low birth, and so there were no meticulous records kept of the details of much of his life, particularly that prior to the last 3 and half years of His existence. |

If you are active on Nigerian Tech Twitter, there's been a buzzing scandal about PayDay, and even more so in the last few days, with accusations of fraud and the weakness of its security systems. The platform carrying the story is one of Nigeria's two biggest tech news platform, TechNext24. But here's where it gets even more interesting: The major recounts/stories/testimonies/evidences it is basing its accusations of PayDay's complicity in fraud are gotten from... Guess where? Nairaland! Nairaland is being referenced to corroborate the accusations. Now you see why I insist you should counter lies regardless of whose ox gets gored, else years from now these anti-people power-grabbers-by-all-means would try to rewrite history. It might mean being at odds with the 'egbons' you look up to but counter the lies for the greater good. Nairaland is still the highest-ranking Nigerian website in search results. What you post here matters in the grand scheme of things. Counter the lies for posterity sake. Else Nations Newspaper and others would use the lies as evidence years from now. Your rebuttals shape public opinion in the long run. ---- Here's a link to the PayDay fraud article: https://technext24.com/2023/07/06/what-is-happening-at-payday/ . 5 Likes |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:I bet your grannies don't know about Alexander the Great. But he existed and had many books written about him. What was written is that he is the son of Odin abi? You believe that? He was even made a god. This was a man who at such a young age conquered half the world and broke the Persian Empire. But yet little or no body worship him. But billions of people have come to know and worship the poor Nazarene, who was crucified like a petty criminal. If you agree Alexander existed, you would be hypocritical to say Jesus didn't exist. 6 Likes |

Spy360: I fail to see how this addresses my post. My post was directed at people who use "historians say a Jesus, who's probably a man preacher, existed" to mean "Historians say a Jesus who was born of a virgin, turned water to wine, walked on water, used 5 loaves and 2 fishes to feed over 5000 men, died and rose on the third day, then flew to the sky with no support existed" But, hey, as the saying goes "If the shoe fits, wear it" |

donjazzet:Says someone that calls all cultures in Africa barbaric and savage, saying they should be all wiped out. If my posts promoting good aspects of my culture and other native cultures of Africa are nonsense to you, then you've a big problem you're yet to realize. I can't be discussing fictitious characters like Jesus on a Monday morning at the beginning of a new week when I'm swamped with work. The topic has no real value to be given such importance. Intelligent people should understand that easily. My posts are not meant for dolts and are targeted at the intelligent few on this forum. |

BlueRayDick:Lols, you're merely wasting your time. Cry more about Otem. I'll post here whenever I choose to. You and your gang can resume your cries about Otem again today in your fruitless endeavor. So with all the problems faced by Nigerians today, it's fictitious Jesus that's your own major concern in life. Lols, Africans are a funny lot. I don laugh tire yesterday when I read some posts here. Africa still has a very, very long way to go, and religion is really the opium of the masses. Lols, discussing fictitious characters on a Monday morning, a person that has no relevance to Africans, except to be used as a political tool for colonialization and slavery by the whites. And this is what I'll be discussing with you at the start of new week? Lols. They'd leave real issues and be focusing on trivialities. Na wa o 1 Like |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 3:36am On Aug 22, 2023 |
BlueRayDick:Lols, you keep exposing your shallow thinking and ignorance further. Religion, especially Christianity and Islam, is one of the major issues Africa faces, and our politicians know how to wield religion, as a political tool it was created for in the first place, for their numerous selfish agendas. This same m.oron has criticized how Nigerian politicians use religion as a tool during elections and governance. Lols, but that has suddenly become false because a guy that supports Otem and promotes African cultures made a post about it. I'm not Seneca, who said, “Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.” He made this observation hundreds of years ago in ancient Rome and is still much relevant today. Only intelligent people know what powerful people do, and have done historically, with Christianity and Islam on the African continent. Even though I don't support subscribing to a particular religion, it's still better adopting the local religion than any of those two religions, which are mere political tools of the whites and Arabs. But I don't expect a dumb person to understand why I said this. Ultimately, a religion only favors its founder and the culture, which the religion is an element of. Isese, the Yoruba culture and traditions, is under attack by the Fulanis wielding Islam as a tool. Instead of a Yoruba to support his culture like every right-thinking person does all around the world, except most people in Africa, you started giving irrelevant history lessons, indirectly justifying the attacks on the Yoruba culture and traditions by the Muslims. It's still this same hypocritical attitude of some Yoruba people that made Ilorin become an emirate it's called today, and if the growth of Islam in the Southwest isn't checked, the whole region could suffer the same fate. That's the ultimate aim of the Fulanis using Islam as a tool, and intelligent Yoruba people know this. This is why, sadly, Africa will not be able to develop for a long time with the way foreign religions are being used to divide Africans, preventing them from facing a common enemy. Anyway, there are only few highly intelligent members on this forum. So, your comment doesn't come as a surprise to me. 2 Likes |

This junkie needs serious help by a psychiatrist. PastorA001 sef is a moniker that doesn't exist. Where this were get that moniker from? Aro patients plenty for Nairaland sha If you know the history of humans, how counting began in various human eras, you'll know why those signs that look like 1's in that picture of the 256 Odu Ifa symbols are said to be based on the binary number system. The symbols are 256 and those signs are used specifically for a reason, as developed by Ifa himself thousands of years ago. The Homo Sapiens era is about 300,000 years old. The extinct Homo Erectus era existed for about 2 million years before that based on archeological records. Yet, you think science and technology started on this planet in the modern era, just about 600 years ago? Lols, if you believe that, then the joke is on you. When it comes to their roots, they suddenly become intelligent and question things. But if it's about Islam or Christianity, their stupidity kicks in and they lose the ability to question the Bible and Qur'an. You can question Ifa but cannot question the Bible and Qur'an. Lols, empty brains. Highly intelligent people question all kinds of knowledge and doctrines, not selecting only the ones your slave masters want for questioning. |

raumdeuter: The worst kind of atheist is an ignorant atheist and that guy has shown himself to be robustly ignorant in multiple fields. Jesus that was just one of so many religious teachers in a backwater Roman province is the person he is asking for contemporary history books on. If not for his followers that spread his message would anything have been written about him even after his death? Comparing the contemporary documentation of a man that was killed by a minor Roman governor in a backwater province to that of the greatest conqueror the world has ever known is the height of ignorance. Tacitus a respected Roman historian who served Roman emperors who were persecuting Christians wrote that Jesus was a historical figure but we should not believe that but accept trust me bro on NL. 5 Likes |

“Otemic intelleshual “ don resume wailing very early in the morning , later he go claim to be minister for works wey dey always busy when hand touch am But on a serious note, if this is not mental illness I don’t know what it is. A person that always want to sound pan-African yet will not stop calling his fellow Africans dolts, dumb and unintelligent. This fooolish fellow will open his mouth waaaa to claim Africa has the highest number of ignorant and dumb people , yet he wants to be seen as Patrick Lumumba of nairaland who is the beacon of hope for the pan-African movement in Nigeria. He insults his kinsmen without provocation on a daily basis but wants them to join him in his new found fooolishness ; no be MENT be that ? Even the individual behind Otem Atum whom U won’t not stop littering this place with his musings , he appears to be more civil and reasonable than u’ve ever been. At least when he came to the Chelsea thread he engaged people in a civil and cool way . U just give the vibe of those people who get converted to a new religion and they become extremists that even the religious leaders who converted them appear shocked at their fanaticism. 15 Likes 5 Shares |

When u read religious books u will see that the 0nly man that came close 2 jesus greatness & achievement was Alex d Great, a man who existed decadeds before holy spirit fvcked virgin mary. but Alexander's existence can be verified, traced & more importantly we had reputable writers/scholars who gave us an eyewitnese account. that he came from a poor background is d more reason why scholars shld be interested & investigate his greatness, miracles & achievements. |

The m.oron no fit quote me to type his gibberish. So many empty brains on Nairaland. I dey ministry of works but you dey ministry of laziness, lols. You dey use Otem's name to abuse me. Only a dolt abuses another person with Tem's name. My posts are meant for Africans with a working brain, not shallow thinkers. Once you touch their sky daddy or darling 'religion', you've become an enemy of these emotional Africans automatically regardless of the merits of what you say. The Otem guy makes tons and tons of claims, and when you research many of them, you'll actually see evidence in support of many of his claims. Some months ago, I read some papers written by NASA scientists, where they developed a system called the Periodic Table of Life (PeTaL) (https: slash slash www.mdpi dot com/2411-9660/3/3/43) You can see it as a version of the Periodic Table in Chemistry, but this particular one is meant to gather key data on all lifeforms on Earth. If you study this system built by the NASA scientists, you'd come across various kinds of mimetic techniques, ranging from paleomimesis, anthropomimesis, physiomimetics, and others. Otem's book explains all sorts of mimetic techniques that Tem, Olorun, and other past humans, which religious people worship as God in ignorance, used in the past eras to design all sorts of living organisms, mimicking those that evolved naturally from stars that fell to the Earth, when the planet was still young. It's funny watching dolts abusing me with Tem's name. Am I supposed to feel ashamed that you're using the name of an ancestor of Africa who had recorded numerous great achievements in history to abuse me? Do you know how many Einsteins Tem has molded with his hands using various mimetic techniques and genetics? Lols. While you're mocking Otem and making a fool of yourself in public, a number of scientists around the world are using ideas, which Otem explained in his book, and which those scientists developed themselves to further their careers. When PeTaL is fully developed in the coming years, you don't need a soothsayer to tell you that one of its myriads of applications is the design of living organisms of various species by scientists in the future, even including humans, just like the past beings did in the past human eras. They're developing the next big ideas in 10, 50, 100, 600 years to come. A number of scientists around the world are laying the foundations for these in various emerging fields. If I send this book to any of those guys in NASA, you'd be amazed at what whites will develop from it. But because of the low intelligence of the average African, they can't distinguish between ideas and subjects of value such as STEM, African history and cultures, from useless and toxic ones like the fictitious Jesus. When Oyinbo people get a hold of your gold and diamond in raw form in your immediate environment which you've failed to develop, they'll steal them, refine them, and sell them back to you in millions of naira. (This post really isn't about gold and diamond.) Any intelligent African in the science line that read the histories in Otem's book would immediately see how that book can help scientific research in a lot of disciplines. You won't need a soothsayer to tell you a number of new fields and theories of science would emerge from that book in the near future. I was discussing with a Muslim guy some months ago, and he asked for my suggestions on how to get research ideas to work on. Ideally, I'd have just gifted Otem's book to him to go and study it critically. But if I gave him, he'd start spreading wrong information and false rumors that I authored the book. Any scientist that will go far in their career would know how to separate religion from science, if not religion will limit such a person's career. Because he's a religious person, I just told him to check his immediate environment (offline and online) for research ideas to develop and ask ChatGPT for tips. Some potential scientists in Africa can establish a great career in the field if they study the history of some of their ancestors in their village and seek how they can develop their works further. But various superstitious beliefs inherent in the cultures won't allow Africans to think critically and reason deeply. This one is juju; that one is juju, spiritual, witches and wizards, demons, and all sorts of gibberish. But underlying some things or occurences they call juju or spiritual/supernatural are certain laws of nature that scientists are yet to discover and explain. Tem, Olorun, Ifa, Orunmila, Chukwu, Amadioha, and the likes were extremely great scientists in their times on Earth, and they knew many, many mysteries that if a modern man luckily stumble upon a few of the ideas, or just one, such a person will leave the realm of mere mortals and become a god in his field. But when you demonize your ancestors, how can this be possible? Buried in some of those stories that many call myths and fables around are some advanced scientific techniques -- past technologies, which were destroyed by one disaster or the other (natural or manmade) in the ancient past and their knowledge lost. When they read their Bible and Qur'an but can't see the advanced technologies their gods hid in the texts because of fear of hell, demons, and all sorts of nonsense. If you know where to look as a researcher using intuition and treading with caution, you can stumble on past technological ideas in your culture and develop them further to advance your career. That's why it's also important to develop STEM in the native language and culture. It is a lot of hard work and takes passion, dedication, and determination to develop a career in science in modern times. But if one puts in the work, the rewards are worth it. As science and technology is not new on this planet and didn't start with us, Homo Sapiens, when a researcher studies with dedication and diligence, he can be lucky to stumble upon some great ideas that some of his forebears worked on and developed, and he can build these ideas further to advance his career. This is what Thomas Edinson meant when he said, "Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration." 1 Like 1 Share |
