Did A001 really expect anyone to read every single thing he wrote up there?? grin

I'm actually very curious to know if anyone actually read that post from start to finish. cheesy

I did.

A001 is quite inquisitive with that thirst for knowledge that drives advancement but needs to chill on the invectives. You will not get people to see your POV by terming them dolts and buffoons.

I think his ideas are interesting but unsubstantiated.

I read most of his posts.

I also understand that he has become defensive and/or rude towards people here AS A RETALIATION. That is, he does not insult you first. He insults people who insult him first.

Even as elrufai was among the core APC team that brought Tinubu to the helm, he still doesnt support the war, just like the rest Northerners.

I said that Northerners considers Nigeriens as their brothers even more than they view southerners in Nigeria, one guy was asking me a jamb question.

If you are active on Nigerian Tech Twitter, there's been a buzzing scandal about PayDay, and even more so in the last few days, with accusations of fraud and the weakness of its security systems.

The platform carrying the story is one of Nigeria's two biggest tech news platform, TechNext24.

But here's where it gets even more interesting: The major recounts/stories/testimonies/evidences it is basing its accusations of PayDay's complicity in fraud are gotten from... Guess where? Nairaland!
Nairaland is being referenced to corroborate the accusations.

Now you see why I insist you should counter lies regardless of whose ox gets gored, else years from now these anti-people power-grabbers-by-all-means would try to rewrite history. It might mean being at odds with the 'egbons' you look up to but counter the lies for the greater good.

Nairaland is still the highest-ranking Nigerian website in search results. What you post here matters in the grand scheme of things. Counter the lies for posterity sake. Else Nations Newspaper and others would use the lies as evidence years from now. Your rebuttals shape public opinion in the long run.

Here's a link to the PayDay fraud article: https://technext24.com/2023/07/06/what-is-happening-at-payday/ .

Is there a Nigerian FinTech company not running some sort of fraud. I feel genuine pity for people keeping their money with these people. E better to try your luck with Sportybet or Bet9ja at least when you lose you know you selected wrong games

I don't think it's fair to generalize that they're into fraud what I think happens most times is overestimation of their capacity while underestimating the risks they will face. At the end of the day when problems occur they face difficulties because they weren't prepared for such

99% of FinTechs in Nigeria have their financial books forged.

That's fraud.

God knows how many times I've tried to do this crypto thing especially when I see "success" stories all over social media

My thinking is to put money I can afford to lose. But how much is money I can afford to lose going to generate for me? Is it even worth the risk at all? I've never been able to go beyond this point.

I end up dropping the idea till another "success" story comes my way.

As far as Nigeria oh majority of them are running fraud. I don't see any real difference between them and MMM. Just more spri spri lingo

When you're handling people's money, underestimating risks is not an excuse

Crypto is like musical chairs if you didn't jump in early it's probably too late.

I think it's more important that you look at realistic gains. Most times it's greed that kills people and the unfortunate lack of understanding that most of the coins out there na shitcoin.

I don't know much about betting/gambling but i suspect Ekitipikin and others of his ilk who appear to keep beating the odds with astronomically high winnings are running some sort of scam. What the scam is i am not sure but it sure looks suspicious and illogical.

I won't be surprised if they are running a PR scam with the betting companies.

That him model. E no fit broke lai lai cos 1 win don wipe him losses for the next 3 months and the thing is when you stake with confidence and risks is when you win. And that's why he keeps winning. Scared money don't make no money.

Nigerians dey forecast sha. I saw a nigga win almost 4k odds with 10 naira. Another won 1k5 odds with 300 naira. Crazy stuff

no be me & una go argue abt imaginary all-powerful jesus who was conceived via h0ly spirit, defeated death, walked on the sea, commanded the storm, raised the dead, turn water into wine... Had hundreds of thousands followers of in the then roman empire.

When u read religious books u will see that the 0nly man that came close 2 jesus greatness & achievement was Alex d Great, a man who existed decadeds before holy spirit fvcked virgin mary.

but Alexander's existence can be verified, traced & more importantly we had reputable writers/scholars who gave us an eyewitnese account.

that he came from a poor background is d more reason why scholars shld be interested & investigate his greatness, miracles & achievements.
You are assuming that those scholars believed all that was said about him? Those who believed like Saul and Luke wrote books about him. But you will not accept theirs because you called it religious books.

Let me explain.

Being a low born in a remote village (nothing worthwhile was expected from Galilee), no one would have envisaged who he was to document him while he was still alive.

What attracted interest to him was the testimonies of his followers who spoke about him in such convincing fashion that they were willing to die for it. The trigger for his followers to spread stories of him offcourse happened after his death (and ressurection).

The followers are real people with names. Herod was real. Pilate was real. The chief priests were real. Saul was a real person undisputed. He was already born when Jesus was active. He met with Peter, John and James in Jerusalem.

Denying these simple facts is being hypocritical to knowledge.
