Joyceaile: Promos and Labels? Which label are you talking about in Nigeria? 30BG Tell me one label in Nigeria bigger than Columbia, Atlantic, Warner, Sony or Universal, and which label in Nigeria does better promo than those I listed. The Nigerian music industry’s gaining grounds but will still be an insult trying to match it up with that of the US. The margin is wide! 4 Likes |

FreeStuffsNG: Do not be deceived by what Shatta Wale said. From the average Ghanaian on the street to their elites, members of parliament, president, celebrities in the entertainment industry to their military, police, immigration, traders and the homeless all have the same perception about Nigerians. Shatta Wale is just pretending and Stone bwoy just expressed his mindset which is a true reflection of what they feel about Nigerians. Our music enjoys airplay in their country and our movies are watched in majority of their households and it ends that way. If you take time to study them you will find out that it hurts them that we are ahead of them in the entertainment industry, commerce and other aspects of life. They only pretend to like us. Hardly will a day pass that Nigeria will not be in any of their news media in Ghana. We are used as a reference for most of the atrocities committed in their country and negative news about Nigeria gets highlighted more than the positive news just to portray Ghanaians as saints when we that truly know them are aware that Ghanaian public servants are very corrupt,Ghanaians are into fraud and very much in the business of armed robbery and also steal from their employers in the private sector most especially in private organizations set up by foreigners. 2 Likes |

ykgenius14: English aside. With our dialect what are we singing, can you compare what we singing with our dialect with what they are also singing with theirs. Stop trying to be over patriotic and accept the fact. I love my country but when it comes to entertainment (Music, Movies) I am 💯 American. And that is facts 1 Like |

AllenSpencer: AllenSpencer: TINUBUISMAD: The dude that said you are living in still living in the past is 200% correct, two decades ago Nigerian music didn't get this much attention, infact, we would rather listen to the latest American hip hop and r&b hit (we call it selection back then in a cd disk sold in Alaba) and featuring an American artist on your song was a big deal and a great achievement but today reverse is the case. 2 Likes |

AllenSpencer: Lol they are just stroking their nether part. Nigerian Music Industry is like the English football, there are some talents no doubt, but most of it is media over hype. Remove the mind numbing beats and what do you have? Vulgarit and asinine lyrics. |
