promotion bro ,massive promos, labels etc makes an artist big ,

Promos and Labels?

Which label are you talking about in Nigeria? 30BG

Tell me one label in Nigeria bigger than Columbia, Atlantic, Warner, Sony or Universal, and which label in Nigeria does better promo than those I listed.

The Nigerian music industry’s gaining grounds but will still be an insult trying to match it up with that of the US. The margin is wide!

Thank you Shatta Wale. That's the spirit of African brotherhood, let's support one another. That landing in a military chopper was a big stunt! I learnt it's already causing trouble in Ghana.
Ghanaian journalists are dragging stoneboy, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and their top musicians that they can't even achieve the feat a new artist like Asake achieved. It's quite humbling truly. Asake really tried a lot!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfo9_aH8iZo?si=mybjvA0Cycq2b4eN

Shatta Wale is unlike Stoneboy who is accusing Nigerians for eclipsing and killing Ghanaian music. How on earth can Nigerians killed Ghanaian music, it doesn't make sense at all.

Do not be deceived by what Shatta Wale said.

From the average Ghanaian on the street to their elites, members of parliament, president, celebrities in the entertainment industry to their military, police, immigration, traders and the homeless all have the same perception about Nigerians.

Shatta Wale is just pretending and Stone bwoy just expressed his mindset which is a true reflection of what they feel about Nigerians.
Our music enjoys airplay in their country and our movies are watched in majority of their households and it ends that way.

If you take time to study them you will find out that it hurts them that we are ahead of them in the entertainment industry, commerce and other aspects of life.
They only pretend to like us.

Hardly will a day pass that Nigeria will not be in any of their news media in Ghana. We are used as a reference for most of the atrocities committed in their country and negative news about Nigeria gets highlighted more than the positive news just to portray Ghanaians as saints when we that truly know them are aware that Ghanaian public servants are very corrupt,Ghanaians are into fraud and very much in the business of armed robbery and also steal from their employers in the private sector most especially in private organizations set up by foreigners.

Nobody is fooled Ghana is eternally envious of Nigeria including this haggard looking human vomit called Shatta Wale.

Funny thing is how a tiny , insignificant Ghana won't look for her mate to measure dick with.

Cos the truth hurts your soul!.

Honestly you're just a bitter person... Who created billboard, English is not our language but we're still able to sell our culture and entertainment to them in their own land.. c'mon... Do you think all ur so call perfect foreign artists could pull numbers here in Nigeria.. try to be wise sometimes and appreciate.. ur own small.. that's if you're not disguising to be a Nigerian. Ozuo!

English aside. With our dialect what are we singing, can you compare what we singing with our dialect with what they are also singing with theirs. Stop trying to be over patriotic and accept the fact. I love my country but when it comes to entertainment (Music, Movies) I am 💯 American. And that is facts

As a genz lemme help you, Travis Scott, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Post Malone, Doja Cat.

I do not think American musicians are far above us currently, we are either on same level or we are even above them. The time of Chris brown and Rihanna are over, those Americans started same time with Asake or Burna boy, where are they?

Omoh, American music has wack lyrics
Nor be only.
Same America artist that will come here and be the main headliner of a show abi which one?
Can a Nigeria Artist go over to US to be the main headliner of a show?
The same artist you are seeking for that started same time with Asake and burna boy will still come here and headline a show. There are levels to the game of music and trust me our Artist are doing perfectly well dem try pass our politicians giving us Joy

The dude that said you are living in still living in the past is 200% correct, two decades ago Nigerian music didn't get this much attention, infact, we would rather listen to the latest American hip hop and r&b hit (we call it selection back then in a cd disk sold in Alaba) and featuring an American artist on your song was a big deal and a great achievement but today reverse is the case.

Lol they are just stroking their nether part.

Nigerian Music Industry is like the English football, there are some talents no doubt, but most of it is media over hype.

Remove the mind numbing beats and what do you have? Vulgarit and asinine lyrics.
