Good morning my people.
I submitted my passport on the 14th of this month, through UPS beside vfs office lekki.
When I started tracking it since this week Wednesday
This is what is showing, I don’t know if the Canada visa office it’s referring to is Lagos or Abuja, cos I don’t see any mail from vfs……

Please my people, what's the naira to Canadian dollar rate today. I want to pay tuition deposit and someone that's helping me to do it is calculating at ₦720. I think it's high.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Fulani14: 9:51am On Aug 25, 2023
Not really sir,i think my point was missed.
I intend to get to get to canada before i withdraw from U of Manitoba. U of Manitoba is sayingi must not take pass 15percent courseload unless i must pay for the semester which i want to avoid.
I saw on IRCC website that i can only take the 150days if its an authorised leave. Does that mean i can only take the 150 day only if Manitoba authorise it or can i just withdraw and move to another province and resume school in January?

Hello Bobomaigida,

They start much earlier from 10:30Am to 2:00pm

Bobomaigida:

Please go and collect your passport, collection is between 12pm to 2 pm but plan to be there early, sometimes they start earlier than the advertised time.

Use this example below .
Let say you graduated in June 2018.
Your first work experience should be July 2018 to let say August 2020. The second work experience should start from September 2020 to whatever day. But let the month follow each other. I don't know if I explained well though

I just got a correspondence from IRCC demanding for my updated bank statement. I hope I'm safe, eligibility started yesterday. May 17th applicant

Wow! How common is this request for updated bank statement? For people that got approvals do they always request for it?

N does this imply that u cannot touch the money for POF throughout the duration of the application

They rarely asked for that. It is only when they suspect that you inflated your account or might have withdrawn your PoF from the account that they ask.

1. Your withdrawal and movement to another school will depend on securing admission in another school for January intake.
2. If you have another school already, resume in UofM and initiate the process for withdrawal and transfer to the other school, such that you won't have attended so many classes to deplete your tuition payment.
3. Between Sept and Jan is less than 150 days so you are covered.

Or when they have issues opening the MBS statement due to technical glitch.

Thank you for your kind response.
Bobomaigida:

Hi Excel, no one can give you a definite answer on your question about getting approved. Most schools request for tuition deposit before issuing LOA, however, I will advise you to check if the school is a DLI and if your programme is PGWP eligible before committing to them. Getting admission is just a small step of the process.

The funds will be enough, but you know with IRCC, it is not the presence of funds that matters but HOW you raised the funds backed by documentary evidence.
