But I still need Canadian dollars to spend in Canada. Do you mean, I should get USD in Nigeria and then change it to Canadian dollars when I arrive in Canada?

Good morning
Please how do I pay Canada school tuition fee currently?
Flywire charges up to 720 and I don't have such money. Where can I get a relatively lower rate. If you know please educate me, it's urgent.

Is it wise to apply to highly competitive/oversubscribed programs in Canadian colleges as an international applicant? Is there anyone here who applied for these kind of programs and got admission?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Abigbo: 9:29am On Aug 26, 2023
The key to that is to apply early

Hello everyone,

Please I need clarification on how scholarships work.

I am a First Class Graduate Nursing student and want to apply for a n MSC in Canada through scholarships, but I'm a bit confused.

Do I need to get an admission first, pay my fees, before looking for a scholarship?

Or I can get a scholarship before applying for the program?

I ask because if I have to get admission and pay the school fees, does it mean the scholarship will reimburse me the scholarship value?

Also, can anyone be kind 3nough to recommend an affordable University for an MSC in nursing

Please guys, I'll appreciate more inputs on this
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 11:37am On Aug 26, 2023
I can assist you with the admission. Yes. one-semester tuition fee is required before you can apply for a study permit.

You can apply from Canada using IMM 1294 (if using a gckey account). When they approve the application, you can travel to Nigeria to submit your passport or send it to their Ottawa Visa Office. After you receive the passport, you must go to the border to obtain your study permit, as this is technically an outside-of-Canada application.

Note that this is not an in-Canada application, as having a visitor visa does not make you eligible to apply from inside Canada. To be eligible to apply from inside Canada (a study permit is mailed to your address without PPR), you must meet specific criteria; one such requirement is completing a course or program prerequisite to securing a school admission to a DLI.

Hello my people been a while.
I have gained admission for PGD in Ontario.
I want to apply for my study permit, I am currently in Canada on Visitors Visa.

Can I apply for Study visa / permit from here in Canada without a Red flag?

Do I need to fly back to Nigeria before I apply?
Any one have this experience?

You stand a good chance if you meet the program’s requirements.

IOM doesn’t always send a confirmation; you can email them to request an update.
