Christistruth03: Arrant nonsense!!! Yoruba had landed on Eastern region of Nigeria and engaged in attritional combat with Biafran defenders before Ore debacle. I guess your historical acumen is shielded by innuendos and fallacies only Yoruba can manufacture. 1 Like |

Christistruth03: Ademoyega was an ibo sympathiser ,though he wasn't the leader of the coup .He was part of the other ibo majors. NOTE : During the civil war , he fought alongside the biafran soldiers when Ojukwu Ojukwu released him from prison. He was later imprisoned by the same Ojukwu during the war , and was not released until after the war by the federal forces, who later on send him back to prison for his role in in the war. He was subsequently given a state pardon on independent day 1974 . |

There is nothing Ibo cannot fake. Nothing! Their culture does not see anything wrong in producing falsehood and then selling it as fact. Remember the falsehood of Sir Ojukwu financing the 2nd World War? Remember the false story of Sir Ojukwu owned a Rolls Royce used to chauffer Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip around when they visited Nigeria? Remember the false story of Sir Ojukwu being the first Chairman of Lagos Stock Exchange? Remember the falsehood that Sir Ojukwu was the first billionaire in West Africa? Now, do not forget this new falsehood about Ademoyega leading coup. It was an Igbo coup from top to bottom. Ademoyega was swept into it, in similar manner Hausa soldiers were deceived by Nzeogwu into shelling Ahmadu Bello's residence under "a falsehood" of field training. Never forget, Ibo and falsehood are synonymous. |

Racoon: Mostly wild unsubstantiated speculation. If they wanted political power for themselves, why the plan to make Awolowo head of government? And the fact of Igbo coup or otherwise is just immaterial; if it walks like a duck, looks and quacks like one...then it's a fúcking duck. The manner with which Aguiyi Ironsi totally mishandled the aftermath of the coup also contributed hugely to the pogroms that later ensued... |

Alary: Ademoyega was not allowed to take care of Ironsi .he was sent to the Telephone exchange instead that was why he and Ifeajuna the Coup leader had a fist fight in prison after Ademoyega found out that Ironsi had deliberately spared Gen Ironsi and all the Igbo Politicians in Lagos |

Racoon:The kind of truth some people don’t like to hear. But we must continue to reinforce this truth until all the falsehood propagated for ages are extinguished. |

NewDea4:They are quoting from Ademoyoga’s book and you dare call it unsubstantiated speculation? When would it qualify as substantiated? When you read it from MC Oluomo’s book? |

Penguin2: Ifeajuna wrote a book too, and in it he claimed.to be the brains behind the coup. Everyone is a boss in their own version of the story |
