If your idea of a family holding on to power for 56 years with the help and support of a foreign imperialist is your idea of a working democracy ,then ,your head is full of garri and relaxer!

Just like Tinubu is still holding down Lagos and is supported by you and your brothers. Democracy can’t work..bla bla bla. So why couldn’t BVAS work? Maybe same reason why democracy can’t work or technical glitches abi? Deceive yourself.
If visas are placed before you, you’ll pick democratic systems to spend holidays or work, than totalitarian systems. Isn’t that stupidity?
Cho Cho Cho…,Democracy is not for Africa yet the day Sanni Abacha died, a huge part of the country was jubiliating. Now I ask you fools who know your history like retarded Ramaphosa of SA, was Abacha regime a democratic one?
Your fore fathers who sold their brothers to the Europeans, were they practicing democracy?
What works in Europe can’t work in Africa because of weather conditions; yes the weather of the mind.
If una like change to monarchy or military system of governance, you will never get a different result. Instead you get worse. Only idiots believe otherwise.
You select stupid leaders from stupid mindsets and cry about democracy failing. Ask your fathers how they fared under military rule. Same people championing endsars are the same lots applauding the military juntas. Confused lots everywhere.
When you should be calling for absolute human reforms and reorientation you’re calling for change from Democracy.
Since NEPA changed its name and got privatized by different DISCOs have you recorded a steady one month supply without interruption? ACN merged with another stupid party and produced APC, which later absorbed thieves who defected from PDP. Now do you still see any difference?
Look at your brothers who leave the country, a good number of them have soiled the name of the country, making it difficult for the few sincere ones to connect effectively for global opportunities. Maybe you’ll blame that too on democracy or poverty caused by democracy. I’ll be glad at this time to be proven wrong that your education wasn’t a waste of time and resources.
Idiots everywhere.

Your question is inconsequential in this context.

The main question here is can "ECOMOG" reinstate the ousted president of Niger?

Does ECCAS have a military intervention force like ECOMOG? simple yes or no

Right , that is why South Africans don’t like to travel ... only their women and some business men . Our leaders were too greedy and eager.

That's a human flaw. That's how leaders and people in general always are - they want independence, even when another person with experience and track record can do a better job. Imagine if resource-rich but poor mismanaged countries let well-organised countries come in and manage them. The world would be richer and better organized

I still don't buy that Abacha loot story. If truly Abacha looted, walahi it will be hard to trace it. For the wife then to boast that they still had money more than Dangote, is enough to tell you that the money claimed as loot is not stolen money. When countries are under sanctions they look for ways to move funds and store them to prevent the accounts being frozen so that they can be liquid. Gaddafi did it, Saddam did it, Fidel Castro did and so many others. If truly the US is tracking and returning loots, why is it hard for them to return the loots of other politicians in Nigeria whom I know have stolen far more than Abacha.

Boy, call the Sun a moon if you desire, it doesn’t change what it is. Abacha looted Nigeria till the heavens quaked.
What’s wrong is wrong. Don’t confuse yourself with semantics. Abacha been balance thief correct thief.
Please were you born already when Abacha ruled Nigeria?
And if yes, then I’ll like you to mention just one politician that has looted the country more than Sanni Abacha, with two instances of proofs.
Tankio.

If civilians were not power drunk military will have no business in politics. Nigerian politicians do not learn, the same rascality in the 60s caused the coups, the same rascality in the 80s caused the coup. Now the rascality has gone promax it is ticking time bomb. I bet if a coup happens in Nigeria people will be glad, because the looting is making the politicians of the 60s and the 80s look like amateurs.

Are you aware that in Nigeria’s history, it was a case of junta overthrowing junta than civilian?

Do you know that south Korea is what it is because of Military rule. The last Military ruler was the person that set the tone for what south Korea is now. So bro research your history very well before talking.
At the time of Nigeria's independence South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam were no where near Nigeria

Do you know that south Korea is what it is because of Military rule

Boy you’re a nuisance here. Stop spewing rubbish. Ask questions where you don’t understand anything.
Korea after WWII was divided into north and south just like Germany was(east and west), between democratic US and a communist Soviet Union. Even though SK have experienced transition of power and few juntas in that space of time, what accounts for her huge development is the US influence. She prospered from engagement and ties with liberal Systems, not military rule.
Read and comprehend. Don’t be an idiot.

Your narrative says it all.

You will detect an Igbo man in just one sentence now matter how hard they try to cover it, the common yoruba or hausas have a proper way of sharing ideas, unlike your Igbos fellows.

And back to the coup plotters , they are no way better than the corrupt democratic govt.

Ask your father at home what Nigeria look like in 1965 to year 2000

I believe ,the 95% of people clamoring for this are the children of hate and perdition that lives in our dear country..

Anyway ,I just pray and I hope they support the military, so that the military can fail in any attempt of coup, because it's been a knowledged from the begining of time that whatever they support must fail., And whatever they criticize must succeed..

I'm.glad they are not supporting Tinubu , so let the military carry on if they so wish...

Hypocrisy have eaten down into your bone marrow if it were obi that won this election I know by now military would have long taken over

Military rule is better than some democracy. I was born during Buhari military era and grew through Babangida and Abacha. Nigeria was safer and less tribalistic.

Nigeria was safer and Dele Giwa was served a letter bomb for paying the price of true journalism Ken Saro Wiwa got hanged for speaking up for his people. How about Kudirat Abiola?

If you were born at these times like you claimed, listen to yourself and ask yourself if you learn from mistakes.

African greedy politicians are ruining Africa. They better start conducting credible elections and doing good for the people or the continent will be militarized.
Be more apt. Put it this way- Africans are ruining Africa. Why? Because the politicians, the military and a good number of the citizens are made of the same stuff and mindsets.
What was the difference between Obasanjo in Khaki and Obasanjo in agbada?
What was the difference between Buhari in khaki and Buhari in agbada? What’s the difference between a regular Gboy and Stella Odua? What’s the difference between the POS guys who used cash drought to wreak havoc on their neighbors and the local government chairman who hoarded palliatives during COVID lockdown?
Why are Nigerians barred from a good number of global opportunities, accessible by average countries, is it the government or the people? The military man that beats up civilians for self satisfaction, what’s the difference between him and the regular agbero who harasses people on a daily? What’s the difference between the police who extorts drivers and the agberos who do same?
The list is endless. Whatever we become is a product of how we think. Period.

Note: The most notorious criminals in Nigeria’s history evolved under military rule. Anini, Shina Rambo.

Why? Oyinbos had their own coups: USA, France, Germany, Russia, all had their own coups (er, sorry, revolutions)...

But on a serious note... the guy had overstayed his welcome.... wonder who's next? As a child of 80's it was normal thing to hear: "I, so and so, declare that we have seized ..."

Next thing will be a "transition to civilian rule", ideally with the plotters as front runners, followed by a campaign of increasing repression, then third term agenda, then mysterious death or assistance of a western power.

I used to think this continent would improve, but as I'm heading towards 50, I realize that "plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose", and this stuff ceases to bother me. Even if Africa is recolonized for 100 more years, it will still decay.

Wike rigged election for Tinubu in River state and was rewarded with Minister of Abuja.
We know what ElRufai and his colleagues did in the North.

Why are we tolerating this in Nigeria.
How did we get here?

The next protest in Nigeria will be in front of Defense headquarter and all military barracks across the country.
All these few recycled politicians recolonizing Nigerians economically must end.

Enough is enough.

Good one.

Watch as AU and ECOWAS rush to condemn the action. They sit down and watch corruption, nepotism and election rigging take over Africa and they do nothing, but once the people react they start to talk .

The west also watch as Africa leaders plunder the resources of Africa and they do nothing, but will be quick to react once the people want to take their destiny in their hands.

Mr Biden, the gay right activist is only concern about Africa only when is has to do with deviant's,I mean the LGBTQ people.
He comes up with his usual,I will stop aid's and bla bla bla once his project LGBTQ is threaten in Africa. But you will never see him talk about election rigging and corruption in Africa.

Africa will continue to experience such actions until they start doing the right thing.

When does military/coupists begin to be the face of people? Lol
