Excellent sense of positional awareness by Gabu saved that situation, otherwise Gbanacho was clear because it happened so fast.

On one hand I can understand why he is doing this, considering Havertz is a new signing that is struggling. However, on the other hand, he is hypocritical, because he did not hesitate to throw Peperempe under the bus during press conferences.

Once again, this is Arteta being stubborn about something that is obviously not working because it is his signing and his ego. Forcing Havertz on the team and disrupting our tactics and chances of winning games is pitching Havertz against the fans which will do more damage to his confidence.

If you ask me, I suggest that Havertz be re-integrated slowly into the team from the bench. This team plays high intensity with fluid movement going forward and Havertz is doing the opposite right now.
