I will strongly advice your friend to enter first before any cancellation, expecially if he's entering Canadian border for the first time.

His card will be charged for the first night... Then cancel immediately he pass through immigration.

Dont make it difficult for yourself at the POE,since Ontario is indicated,why cant u instead go thru ontario or Toronto at worst,i went thru Ontario,but my own case was from New york to Toronto because i have a valid US visa,Ontario was the destination i fillled on my form,i came thru Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto

I just made a book on hold for 3 weeks so when we are in, I can put our return ticket on hold till we are ready to return then I call to schedule. Someone is also telling me to book the 2 months directly instead of that. Please house someone should give me an advice. Meanwhile our application was to Toronto but the flight we booked was to Vancouver. I hope those aren’t red flags. Thank you

I was able to get into the portal and saw she’s been approved since April and May 11 document requested and no one informed her. I just saw it and I’m exited but caCan she still get the visa?

If not before they do tell her to get new one of 5years minimum or 10 years because it’s the number of years in her passport that they will use as duration on her visa, is it’s 9 months that is remaining for her passport to expire na 9 months visa she go get

Biometrics: still valid from a few years back. Can’t remember.
BVL and PPR: August 29, 2023.
I saw shege because of the long wait o. Sent several web forms and emails. The last I sent was a week before approval. Eligibility didn’t even start until the last time I checked the tracker which was few days before approval. They nearly doubted if I did submit the application.😂🤦🏾‍♂️

don’t book 2month flight directly o re u not going for visiting? Book 2 to 3week to avoid immigration questions at d POE

Passport validity and biometrics validity determine how many years visa you would be issue, but you can Opt to re-do your biometrics if the biometrics validity is closing to 10years

Better you book for 2 weeks and use 100dollar to change the date when you arrive in Canada.
