For your first question, you don't need to book online appointment for passport submisssion, go to the UPS office beside vfs office, you will be charged about 2,650 naira for 24-48 hours period submission to vfs.

It's advisable you go to the one beside vfs, because it's more like the only work they do there, your mind will be at rest when u see people in your shoes. Just my opinion.

The issue is i have already submitted my passport for stamping for the Visitor Visa.

Also like I have being seeing the proof of funds I need to show is 4K cad for myself and 3k cad for my son, plus 2k cad for miscellaneous. Making it 9k cad in total right? So does it mean with 9k I’m good to go financially? Also about my SOP, I explained about how my son cried and created a scene at the airport which was why I decided to apply, please is this a good enough excuse? Lol I understand the emotional you and your son are, see is your right to apply for SOWP either your wife already in Canada or still in Nigeria.

The emotional blackmail is enough to get your SOWP and VV for your son lol bro, see these people knew our trick and they only toying with out emotional.

Go ahead and apply with your son I assure you will get your visa with your son.

Just include that you find it difficult since your wife left and you think is what you can handle before, but right now you can't withstand it any more because you and your family since you are married you never live apart for 2weeks .

Most especially your 2 years and 5 month old son always feel lonely and missed motherly care.

Ontario mum, Please hold the minimum documents that you can relate with properly. From what I have seen, not much questioning but every case/person is unique. Having said that, i will advise, you hold:

1. Your letter of OWP
2. Letter of VV for your kids
3. POE Letter for you and you kids
4. Know the location where hubby resides (Home address)

My husband is a student in Canada and I intend to apply for sowp now. I am using a 4000 CAD gift deed from my mum as POF. To use this approach , do I need to submit mum's bank statement after my own bank statement, notarized letter of deed of gift?

Has anyone gotten approved recently using gift deeds without including the deed givers bank statement?

My little advise try and add more with the funds because you really required to provide $4,000 cad, and you need to add some for flight and miscellaneous.

For the deed of gift from your mom, you can add your mom bank account but knows that your mom will need to explain how she raise the funds she sent to your account.
