One thing you don't want to do is complicate your application. If you want to put an earlier date. Just use a couple of days that would show you settling before you start. Also just use the address on your COS. Showing two addresses can just spark questions.

It’s not that compulsory since everyone is applying together and visas are generally linked together by GWF or VAF. Also in our case, the main applicant who’s the mum signed the consent letter. So I guess the main applicant should sign.

You can put an earlier date, the ECO will still tally this with your start date on your COS and start your visa from the date u input IF they feel it’s acceptable for you to come in earlier to settle down. If they are not okay with it, they would modify it.
Yes you can use a different address as they understand that one can have a home address and a correspondence address as is also present in the UK. Nothing to worry about.

Because maintenence was not ticked, I could not apply immediately as I needed to do the 28 days proof of funds. I applied for my visa 22nd of August and did biometric on 31st of August. I am currently awaiting a decision, not update yet.

My concern now is the 28 days rule about start date and sponsorship. It was past 28 days before I even applied for my visa because of the proof of funds. Will this raise a question about my application?

Although I was communicating with my employer about my not being able to apply for my visa immediately. Has anyone been in this situation? Do I have anything to worry about? Please advise.

No but your child application form should contain the consent page and you just need to tick and have the main applicant sign on it.

Oga.... collect ur visa and travel.... U nor get problem...

Maybe border control can ask u a few question about the difference in ur resumption date on paper and ur arrival date..

But that shouldn't be a serious issue ...just say ur pre-visa application preparation and ukvi approval SLA caused some delay...and ur employer is aware....

Shouldn't be an issue....

If border control officer ask u question.....just be calm and answer....no biggie....
tell them why u were late naaa...visa application preparations can sometimes chop more time than envisaged.... Employer is aware.... Make them call employer

Good morning. Pls will the dependant partner also upload the pages 1 and 3 of the form?. I saw some posts saying the dependant partner will also upload them on her own application too. And if so is it the only the MA that will also sign the one for dependant partner or they will sign it together? Pls clarify thanks

. if it's the latter...Nobody has blueprint to get uk Job and COS oooo ....u have to just keep applying and hope to get lucky
