You're preaching to a preacher. First my comment doesn't justify her exclusion, I only said I could make sense, however unfair, of her exclusion . The category is for the calender year and even though she's the best goalkeeper stat wise in France and should have been included, her club didn't help. They were knocked out of the qualify stage of the UEFA champions league, Nigeria came 4th at the WAFCON and she didn't win any laurels even a cup title with Paris FC. The only other criteria left is the world cup and even though her 3 clean sheets should suffice, our finishing in the round of 16 didn't help. Let's check the other the last one year.

My assumption is that Onyi and Debbie weren't called up cause of school and the D1 season currently on. The NWSL is also still on hence Kanu's absence. Also doesn't make a lot of sense for the above to make a trip from the US to Nigeria. Ashleigh and Ohale just got new clubs so the reasoning go he to allow them settle in.
