isan: Of what importance is she to the team right now that she still doesn’t want to retire?? Is it Osinachi Ohale, Halimatu Ayinde, Asisat Oshoala can’t offer any of the experience quota she brings in?? 4 Likes 2 Shares |

do4luv14: As the contract of Coach Randy Waldrum still runs in till the end of October, I presume it’s fair to assume that he will be around to manage the team for the two against Sao Tome in Lagos next Friday, 22nd September and away leg on 26th September. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Deltamani: That will be great, as it will let other in onto the playing pattern brought in by Randy, which was one of the reason Amaju went for him again 2 Likes |

isan: The comment yoi quoted literally says he's under contract till October, that isn't in dispute. The list however is a NFF list, likely the technical department's list. That also isn't in dispute. 1 Like |

Still on the Onome matter. They'll probably have to take her through all the Nigerian clubs before she retires. They got her attached to a club she wasn't remotely affiliated to just to justify her world cup inclusion. Next club will be Delta Queens. 5 Likes

lovewins: She really need to be told…@40+ there’s nothing Onome Ebi can contribute on the Field of Play anymore look at her fellow Oldies Sinclair, Marta, Becky S and Seger they’re all playing Competitively at Club level in the top leagues, if she was with any Clubside playing competitively and regularly I don’t think we would be complaining like this, her refusal to retire is arguably blocking the way for Younger Center Backs like Onyiyechi Zogg, Maureen Umeh, Akudo Ogbonna.. Retire now that the ovation is high let the Younger Ones have the time to develop and compete for the Spot… Not that we don’t even have, the talents are there if Onome keep taking that one spot how do we get to see the Younger Ones at the Senior National team level?? 1 Like 1 Share |

daveP: I liked her but now the babe dey vex me and has made me dislike her with her strongheadedness & desperation. Ball don leave am, but she no gree leave ball.... acting like she doesn't have a life outside the Super Falcons. She should stop occupying space and blocking the chances of younger and better players. Super Falcons no be do or die. If no be for my home training and the restriction of comments on her social media, I for don give her a piece of my mind. Very pathetic human being. 1 Like |

daveP: The song she put on her status yesterday is typical of how these people see Nigerians. It's situations like this that make me realize that our politicians truly are a reflection of who we are as a people. We get the leaders we deserve. She's basically telling Nigerians thorough that song that she doesn't give a damn and we can keep wailing. Just sad. 1 Like |

semid4lyfe: Like do you know what it means for you to have played 20 years? I mean 20 uninterrupted year. Do you know how much of a blessing that is and how most footballers, male or female would roll on the floor to get a 10 year stretch in their international careers. I could list players who were impactful for the national team (male or female) who didn't have the luxury of 10 years with the national team. God blessed you so much you've spent 20 uninterrupted years with the team and you still can't make room for younger folks to get a chance? For those justify this nonsense, what you do not realize is that your argument justifies the despots who have been president for decades in many African countries. 1 Like |

semid4lyfe: From Dennerby days, I've been a fan cos she was solid and good on field and interacts with fans. But now, with all the Gbasgbos under Randy, the alleged role she played, and this consistency of stewpidity by refusing to retire and use the hype on that to land better caf job or something. She wants to be weapon fashioned against us? Na coach i blame. She can't even snap in Naija Ratels jersey to show she's truly with them. Smh. We shout for Rita and she stepped down. Ebi was in Falcons way before Desire but that one retire before her. Smh. E reach to insult her. She's fueling that level. Just that...m 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli:Basco, this one no be stanship mata. Which one is cry from today until match day now? 😏 We are not enemies for suggesting that. But she's insulting fans since morning on twitter. Now they are insulting back. Is that what you're supporting? |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 2:13pm On Sep 16, 2023 |
BascoVanVeli: It's funny you think she's allowed to make the squad but we aren't allowed to "cry about it". We can't stop her from taking advantage of the rot in our system for her personal gain (it's her right) but you also shouldn't ask us to stop "crying about it". We will keep crying about it whenever we feel like it. 1 Like |

I won't really blame Onome that much, na NFF I go blame. Age aside, I believe if you want to be called up, you must be playing competitively. No be by doing attachee to one club like that. And about insulting the fans, she would lose the prestige she has built in all these years. 4 Likes |
