Hi Good morning all. Please if a couple applied for a visa at the same time stating that they will be traveling together, but along the line the main applicant encounters financial issues and have decided to travel to UK first before the dependant who would be coming in later, will travelling alone cause any problem? |

Please i need your help people, i applied for a visit visa in 2019 which was denied because i did not explain my transactions, the issue i have now is that i added my partner back then as my wife since we lived in the same house and we have a child together but along the line we have gone our separate ways and i now legally married to another woman with 2 kids. I want to make another application now this december and i dont know if they will request for divorce papers or how do i go about explaining to them that we are not officially married since my details will change when i submit this new application in december. Please help |

Hello House, Has anyone experienced this: I got an email from SVSAppeal stating: “The decision to refuse your visa application has been overturned and our office will now proceed to the next stage of your application.” I have paid the IHS fee and re-submitted my passport to TLS. Does anyone know how long it will take for my passport to be returned? |

My masters, please, I have a quick question. I am helping out a relative who is planning to travel out on vacation with his dad to fill out a visa application. This young man is a private school teacher with less than 100k in his account, but his dad's bank account is ok. His dad doesn't need a visa because he has a valid travel permit. As per finance, is it appropriate to include only the sponsor's (his dad's) account statement? |

Good day house, pls my wife is traveling this week but her Police clearance certificate has expired since 1st of September. Will it be an issue at the point of entry? Does she need to renew the PCC? Secondly, she wrote the care home where she got her CoS to extent the expired resumption date on her offer letter, they replied that it's not necessary that it won't be an issue at the point of entry, her initial resumption date was 15th of August, I am not sure if they correct. Pls ooo we seek urgent advice |

Thanks for your response! However, more like you didn't get the questions, the reason for the inquiry is to be sure these will not be problem at the PoE. Issuer of CoS will not be there if such questions are raised at the PoE. More so, is to hear from people who have entered to educate me if I will really have to press for an extension of date in the offer letter. hunee: |

There is no answer we want to give you here that will validate what they have said. Betterstill she keeps in contact with them until her arrival. If e con happen as you dey talk, they can place a call to them for any clarifications. Immigration does this regualarly. RELAX! |

Hi everyone, Good morning. So my mother in-law was issued a 6 months visit visa from August 2023 to February 2024 to come and nurse her daughter who gave birth in June 2023. But unfortunately due to some factors she could not travel in August, she will be coming in first week of October. During the application I stated that she will be staying for 1 month. Currently we want her to stay till February next year before going back. Now here comes the main concern/question, my sister in-law who's equally here in the UK will be giving birth in that same February 2024 based on the scan she did. So my question is, if my mother in-law goes back to Nigeria in February and reapplies for visit visa to come and take care of my sister in-law, will her visa be granted? Please help with your inputs and suggestions.. Thank you very much... Please note: Her flight (return ticket) has been booked from October to February |

I did biometric on the 9th and submitted my passport but recently something came up and I need my passport end of this month for something very important, how do I go about it? Is it possible to still get my passport back before decision? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Taal17: 5:35pm On Sep 18, 2023 |
PhilJames: Let your mum go in October as you've planned. She's there to visit her daughter and see her grandkid.. Oct to Feb visit for 4months? Then another visit almost immediately after won't really work. For your sister inlaw - if mama applies immediately after she returns that she's going back then her application would be looked at differently. Oct to Feb visit for 4months? Then another visit almost immediately after won't really work. Unless you decide to stick to the original 1month visit in October as initially said. Then apply for another visa for the next visit in March 2024 and this time your mum can spend 4minths visiting both families. 1 Like |

habeeb246:yes, go to TLS center and collect temporary passport withdrawal form, you will need to return it after use, before decision is made or after receiving no refusal mail. |
