Names of those Generals withholding their payments have been given. Demote them by 2 ranks and deploy them to military training school. They will serve as perfect scapegoats to upcoming soldiers. 1 Like 1 Share |

That is 50 dollars a month or One dollar, 70 cents a day to lay your life down against terrorists the State has no appetite to tackle.... and yet even this crumb is eaten up by corrupt vermin. Nigerians are either the most patient or mist ignorant species on earth. Do not be surprised that the state will come after the complainants led by their able commanders. A democracy that cannot change a nation or even move it an inch in the right direction is in itself useless and unfit for purpose. 1 Like |

It is this type of corruption that has had a devastating effect on Russian soldiers in Ukraine. As if going to fight a needless war wasn't draining enough, the high ups now underkit them and loot funds meant for the war. 1 Like |

akyus: 191 soldiers multiply by 48 rounds of an Ak magazine equals to 9,168 deleted souls, a reload will equal 18,336 deleted souls, if the third magazine is engaged 27,504 souls is gone just like that. If an RPG is included, we will loose counts. Hmn.. I do not think those making life unbearable for Nigerians are up to 27,504 kleptomaniacs. If this keeps going on, coup will happen one day. Imagine how much is these gallant men alloeances, and see how much Emefiele and his crew have embezzled. And they are the ones protecting us... hmm.. No wahala |

These zombies who calls themselves soldiers are part of the corruptions in the country, they the ones aiding and protecting corrupt politicians with guns. Now that the corruption is affecting them they have started wailing. If they don't like it, they know what to do. They should learn from the Niger soldiers. Simple! 1 Like |

The Chinese have no other business there other than work after which they leave but the soldiers will remain, battling terrorists while collecting stipends no better than those guarding Kentucky Fried Chicken. |

I was hoping Tinubu would put an end to the military being involved in civilian matters. We are condemning the military coup in Niger .... threatening invasion to restore democracy... while we are operating as if under military rule where the military is involved in civilian matters. Which democratic country do we see the military involved with civilian matters? ... except in a disaster or a State of Emergency is declared? In this case ... the military is not even protecting the project ... where one can argue it is a national project ... but even so this is the work of the Police. They are there to protect the Chinese nationals .... not the employees of the project .... the Chinese nationals. And sooo many if us are still wondering why military coups are on the rise again. The soldiers should stop complaining and do the needful. |
