So Shithole medical professionals are easily accessible for diagnosis and drugs prescriptions than saner climes professionals? So what will make a saner clime person come back home to patronise "Shithole Chemist" rather than a working system abroad?
Nigerians have a culture of drug misuse and abuse, so those people going abroad pack all the drugs they're used to abusing.

In the developed world, drugs are used RATIONALLY ie they are prescribed when they're considered necessary and are used with supervision of professionals. But here in Nigeria, anybody can just walk into roadside "chemists" and buy drugs without prescription.

The consequence is that we create disease burdens by increasing RESISTANCE to antimicrobial drugs, worsen existing diseases via wrong drugs use and increasing death rate from diseases and from drugs.

Many deaths in this country can be traced to either use of wrong drugs until the disease got complicated or adverse effects of some drugs. Most Nigerians are ignorant of the fact that drugs can cause deaths as much as they can treat disease and improve life. I know many cases of deaths that resulted from wrong use of drugs.

Although our national drug policy incorporated RATIONAL drug use, goverment is finding it difficult to implement because most of the people in goverment are ignorant of the dangers of indiscriminate use of drugs.
At a time the rest of the world is implementing policies on ANTIBIOTICS STEWARDSHIP to help curtail resistance of microorganisms to antibiotics and keep these antibiotics effective, Nigeria is busy creating microbial strains that are resistant to existing antibiotics, yet we don't invest in researches to keep developing new antibiotics.

This is one of the reasons India and China now see Nigeria as a dumping ground for all whatnots in the name of drugs. When you hear that life expectancy in Nigeria is nosediving just know that indiscriminate use of drugs is a major contributing factor.

God help Nigeria!!!

In the shithole life is cheap.

No one cares if they die from overdose, wrong medication or organ failures.

You can get dangerous drugs at the drop of a hat from quack doctors and street vendors.

Why do you even need tests and medical examinations? angry

Just self medicate
American is facing opioid crisis for how many years now?

Same drug prescripted by doctors if you still think prescription medication are effective then you're in for a long ride.

The 4th leading cause of death in America is what....

Wrong prescription.

In case you want to argue just Google it.

Two weeks ago joe Biden wants to do something about it guess what happened

Honestly, English comprehension should be a compulsory subject in the curriculum up to the senior secondary level in Nigeria.

Are you saying that people should just self medicate without consulting a doctor?

I can't even stress my self to argue with you

I'm not even replying you but because of the millions of gullible people who don't know about healthcare in America.

The 4th leading cause of death in America is medical error not guns like they want you to believe.

Self medication is even good for someone in America than taking medication from doctors.

Here's facts for ignorant people who want to claim smart.

Humiro the most advertised drug in America for arthritis killed as much people as the Vietnam war.

Oxycoton a drug pushed by big pharma is responsible for the opioid crisis in America.

Check the recent IQ test in the world and see where America stand.

Drugs like Vioxx cause more side effects that the Dieases they were supposed to cure even the FDA was in on this facts.

I rather self medicate in America than take prescription from doctors.

Doctor who have been conditioned and in many case given kick backs for every drug they give to patients.

Yet our educated brother will think doctors in America are interested in savings lives.

Sadly it's not the case people are now taking their health into their hands.

Imagine doctor given kids Treyol for ADHD a schedule II drug that's in same category with cocaine.

Here's the kicker most studies carried out are now done by non profit organization who are paid by big pharma.

The data are not available to them big pharma veto everything and send to them for approval.

How would I know about it because I follow people who don't bow to big pharma.

Educate yourself person study medicine no mean say him sabi the politics that's inside medicine.

Most peer reviewed journal are false because the peer reviewer don't have access to all the data.

Humiro, Vioxx and other drugs show it and that's why they were ban after killing thousands of Americans.

Drug companies spend billions to develop drugs and THEIR AIM IS PROFITS TO THEM AND SHAREHOLDER.

Everything here is verifiable fact you can Google everything.

EXPECTING ANYTHING LESS IS FOLKLORE.

By the way most of the doctor are just following what pharmaceutical companies want them to follow.

IF you want to get a head start to all the hidden details

Remember it's in your hand if you give drug companies your money you'll likely give them more money.

Medications are only prescribed based on doctor's prescription only in the abroad and that's far safer. Their mortality rates for any disease is lower than ours , so evidence based, they are doing the right thing .

Nigerians are used to self medication and wouldn't want to go to the hospital till it's too late. That's why they pack medicines to continue their self medication abroad
