2 chronicles 9:25 says "And Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses and chariots and 12,000 horsemen"

2 Kings 4:26 says "And Solomon had 40,000 stalls of horses for the chariots, and 12,000 men"

"And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for chariots"
The forty thousand horses are for chariots only,thats a different department/arm of his convoy.
"And Solomon had for thousand stall for horses AND chariots."
This writer didn't tell us the number of chariots but we know it to be forty thousand.
