All these people criticising all Yorubas are not better than yourubas if the table truly turns to their side. Haven't we seen people from SE/SS supporting AP from time immemorial or this current government. However, to me, all ethnic groups in Naija are guilty of this with no exception of any any tribes.
ivandragon:

You guys need to stop this sweeping castigations of ethnic groups, in this case Yorubas, especially on this APC/BAT issue.

There are millions of Yorubas who do not support BAT or APC. But when people like you turn it to ethnic 'war', you force such persons to take sides by defending thier ethnicity.

Limit your criticism to the APC & BAT, don't drag the whole ethnic group into such matters.

Lori Iro! Omojuwa demonstrated 2 dirty traits unique of the people from the land of sophisticated politics He first of all confirmed Ajuri Ngelalee lie of Tinubu's being the first Nigerian president to ring the NASDRA bell.

2nd is the wicked trait of nauseating double-minded hypocrisy about anything APC This reminds me of the Sarrki on NL here who used lament of being disappointed in the expected catastrophe Buhari is but became an ethnic bigot to foist another Buhari promax upon this nation due to the emilokan warped mentality.

These are the shameless mummified zombies who foisted APC - the worst unfortunate political phenomenon to ever grace our national life. They wickedly supported their every evil policies, decisions, impunity, lawlessness and unconstitutionality all the way. Sanctimonious hypocrites calling themselves patriots.

To make matters worse, the NYSE is even more prestigious than NASDAQ.

Was that the only thing he did?
How did it affect the country economics wise?
I am beginning to agree that an average APC/tinubu supporter has a pig brain.

I am not a Tinubu fan or supporter, neither do I support any politician, but I applaud any outstanding feat any of them achieve. And I don't support anybody blindly without, applying common sense or putting up my critical thinking cap.

But I won't standby and watch anyone stereotype my tribe like that. My closest family friends were igbos until distance reduced our communication. Out here, my work colleagues are mostly Igbos, and we mutually respect eachother's tribe, although we throw banters every now and then, but just on a friendly level.

And for your info, this trend is about consistency, when you say 'yes' tonight, you don't wake up tomorrow to say 'no'. Betrayal cut across every tribe, just like any other vices.

That's the problem with a lot of these guys from SE. You claim to condemn ethnic politics but you're doing the exact same thing.
I know a Yoruba Muslim who is very anti-APC be it Tinubu or Buhari
Such an individual if he sees what these guys write online will feel threatened at the thought of them taking power. That's the major part they fail to understand.
It's same with the Obi franchise. Do you know a lot of northerners were not necessarily against Obi in 2023 elections like so many of his brethren believed? But they couldn't vote him due to not being familiar with his person and background. What Obidients should have done is double down on their penetration into the north but instead they have reverted to tribalism. How do you convince a northern Muslim to vote Obi when you don't stop criticising them for voting their choice in the last election?
It's just nauseating

Do I blame the 2012 occupy Nigeria crooners. I blame the idiot, brainless and brainwashed APC supporters who helped them to achieve their selfish ambition. Fayemi confirmed this recently.

The worst is that south south don’t even know their through enemies, even when gej was brought down by south west and north the Igbo’s stood with him till the last end, we never cared because we knew buhari was a disaster and today the whole of Nigeria I reaping his Fulani economic reforms, imagine it’s a Se or ss president refused to allow the university he attended to release and swear under oath of his results, Lagos and abuja would have filled with protest, very unfortunate country that chose evil and demons over good things

Many rabid tribalists making insipid comments here. Only a few reasonable ones are cautioning them not to tag the whole tribe.
I have never supported Tinubu, but if insulting my tribe is what gives you people oxygen to breathe, enjoy it.

Oga calm down, you should know how Nigerians thinks.

For example any niger delta guy, is seen as a militant, that's the first impression most nigerians have. But as you communicate, that when the person would know you are smarter than what he/she initially perceived.

It's just a normal thing in Nigeria, most yoruba's didn't even vote for tinubu.

But you see this country Nigeria, walaihi we are divided.

Now look at how people are suffering, to even eat is a problem, not to talk of school fees.

Alot of people are bitter.

-APC glamourised the insecurity of pre-2015 but it has worsened to frightening levels under their watch in the past 8 years.

-APC sanctimoniously glamourised the corruption of the PDP years only for the them not legalised same but shamelessly robbed it on the faces of Nigerians by being the first to give the nation an all corrupt caste in government; a criminal president, senate president, chief of staff, corrupt ministers and morbidly corrupt ruling government party chairman.

-APC lied, amidst wicked propaganda of fuel subsidy being a scam and fraud with zilch knowledge of the working dynamics therein. Today, it is still perpetuating the same scam as evident with NNPC allegedly borrow monies on behalf of the FG to substantiate its overhead costs.

-APC so much lied about many phantom illusory promises all just to gain political power including the issues of restructuring, building of new refineries, Ogoni oil spillage cleanup, etc. Of course the rest is history.

You’re OP, u still took first and second to comment space. That’s disgusting

Lies, misinformation, propaganda and hypocrisy are all that is common to all APC people, like Fayemi below.

Our protest against Jonathan’s subsidy removal in 2012 mere politics – Fayemi

The immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has revealed that the protest launched against the fuel subsidy removal during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2012 was mere politics.

Fayemi stated this while delivering his keynote address at a national dialogue organised to celebrate the 60th birthday of the founding National Secretary of Alliance for Democracy (AD), Professor Udenta Udenta, in Abuja, on Tuesday.

Udenta is also a Fellow of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought.

The event was also graced by Jonathan; former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili; and former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, among others.

On January 1, 2012, President Goodluck Jonathan announced the removal of fuel subsidy, therefore, adjusting the pump price of petrol from N65 per litre to N141 in a move that sparked mass protests, known as ‘Occupy Nigeria’ across major cities of the country.

The price was later adjusted to N97 after more than a week of protests. It was further reduced to N87 in 2015.

Jonathan faced serious backlash from the adjustment in fuel price, especially from leaders of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), who are now mostly in the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Other parties that antagonised Jonathan’s administration included the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). protested the plan.
