nigeria doesn't have a standard. To talk about standard, what is the value or standard of life in Nigeria Your purchasing power determines your standard and we know the purchasing power of nigerians which is below bar unless for the criminal enterprise. We have to be grateful to those importing according to our Nigerian standard. E no easy for everybody. I learnt that from nigeria to hell is just 50naira despite the $ rise. Nawao 24 Likes 2 Shares |

There's what is called market segmentation.....that's what is happening in the spare parts market in Nigeria and other free markets around the world. Nobody is stopping anybody from purchasing OEM parts but where's the money to buy them? How many vehicle owners in Nigeria can afford brake pads of 50k and above? 13 Likes 2 Shares |

They are only importing based on market demand and affordability. On this high forex rate, who can even afford the inferior standard again. Tokumbo parts is just the last hope. Nigerians always goes and believed they are wise in pricing, when you import high standard and quality parts and customers keeps using you to price and buys from other fake parts sellers thinking you're ripping them off, you'll explain tire with no evidence. You just have to blame yourself and count your lost, import what they can afford and make your money. Meanwhile in auto parts is very rare getting a standard original parts as companies that produces the cars hardly mass produce spare parts from same plant to match its replacements and market demands, so Chinese has to take over the industry to block some gaps, We should be happy to even see the new parts at all. Atleast you have hope of changing some original parts with new lookalike parts. Original is original. Replacement is replacement just so you can still like and manage your car Chinese people and their new parts are the reason some cars have second hand value. 14 Likes 1 Share |

Wetin Peugeot e12 engine cover dey do for the picture, Abeg remove my darling Peugeot parts from there Our parts are never fake cos it is sourced from Europe not china the Asian Nigeria, If u use asian car expect fake parts it's simple as ABc And that's why the Koreans hate the Chinese so much, China be making fake substandard products just to meet up with the Asian tigers, Chinese people have no legacy ,no honor nothing, But u see japan, Korea, Taiwan What ever you get from them is genuine cos they keep their fathers legacy, Not china, Stop importing from china You stop fake products period 7 Likes |

95% fake imports... this is crazy!. These people want to kill everybody in this country. Fake spare parts, fake wine, fake drugs, fake shoes, fake everything. They killed entertainment industry through pirated CDs until technology came to the rescue. FG must enact heavy punishments inorder to save our lives. 7 Likes 1 Share |

EcoBrick: Effect of APC bad policies, do you know the cost of clearing goods now at our ports? Fluctuations of dollars, make it near impossible for importers to bring original goods, that will still be exposed to multiple exploitative taxes. 3 Likes 1 Share |
