my visa application was refused. only one reason raised there is THAT I FAILED TO TELL THEM THAT USA REFUSED ME VISA. which is against their law IRPA 16. please find a way and correct it. i dont even know the date i was refused. but am re-applying and will now explain to them that it was done in error and out of mistake and wasnt intentional.

BossFingy:
Am having my biometrics this morning but was just reading the thread i noticed ppl talking about previous refusal visa, i have been refused a U.S visa 6 years ago but i did not include it on my current application, do i have to include its or its not necessary, even if i want to include it, is it possible, how can i do it?

Relax
They will update it on their own
Stop sending webform on that
My second application took a month and 25 days before they updated my biometrics as completed.
So relax and stop sending webforms on that
This is a relieving message for me because I'm in same situation. Thx you

Good day house!

1.) Pls, like how many month statement of Account do one need to submit considering an uncle is going to be sponsoring the trip?

2.) Like how many month of statement of account do one need to submit if it is self sponsor?

3.) Hope it won't be a red flag in the sight of VO, if family man's trip is going to be sponsored?

You still need to submit your docs despite having a U$ visa .

Please upload all the documents you have based on each of the category listed .

I had a valid UK, US and Schengen visas and I uploaded all my docs . I even had to shrink the size of the documents to accommodate them all and I got my Canada visa Abt 10 days after biometrics .
Pls submit any docs that will help your application.

If you can cancel your application and reapply again, it's better oh .cos not mentioning a refusal is a basis for refusal .

There was someone that was refused a Canada visa once , applied again and got it .
When he applied the 3rd time to renew cos he didn't mention the very first refusal . He was refused .

He thought since he was issued one after his refusal that there was no need .

It's best to always mention a refusal . Even if you are not sure of the date .
They share info with the 5 eyes . They know abt all refusals esp in UK and US

Which app can I use. I have compressed and it’s still 11mb. I don’t want it to be blurry. Can you help me share a list of the things you submitted so I can remove the ones that are not relevant.
Why I am worried about submitting a lot because I have gotten W2 rejection so I am doing everything possible to do this one right. That’s why I am doing it myself and with the help of my American visa. I am so positive.quote author=lakeside30 post=126073866]

Is because of the US visa. Submit only what you were asked to submit.

My wife was in similar situation, and her visa was granted.

Hi,
I rhink you have to be very specific about the location to get the best asnwer to your question. Someone responded that single apartment rates between $1k-1,200/month. He might be right but thats definitely not Toronto. I pay $1,500 in a single suite in North York (not even downtown Toronto). There's currently a housing crises which has affected availability,
therefore price is higher.

A shared four bedroom in my building Is about $1,200. So please be specific about the area when doing your search. For shared apartments, try kijiji but better still, facebook marketplace, roomiesmatch.ca and roomies.ca

In the latter, you create a profile and meet people planning to get to Canada or already there. Then you're able to pair up with people you think are compatible to you.

Finally, be very careful. Too many scams and fake postings. If anyone asks you to pay a deposit just to view, likely a scam.

Thank you i really appreciate and will do the things u suggested as for the payment upfront from the little research have I already know is a red flag for someone to ask for money upfront I'm only paying when I see things myself when arrive in Canada

Montreal is cold but not as much as Manitoba. Vancouver is the most expensive city esp North Vancouver. Toronto expenses are as much as Vancouver

Please if someone renew a passport with a valid student visa and the passport is yet to expire till 2025 which called (migration), and the immigration cancelled the previous passport data page with cancelled stamp when the new 10 years passport was issued to avoid using 2 passport.

I hope this is normal ? And can't cause issue at the Nigeria airport or when arrive in Canada?

Note: The two passport would be travel along with.

It is normal if you have a current or valid visa in the old passport.

Good evening house, please I need candid advice on this issue. I recently applied for Canadian Visit Visa but forgot that I have been refused visa before because back then in 2017 it was an agent that filled in for me. It only occured to me after submitting when I realized that my biometric was seen and I will need not go for biometric again.
My question is this, what are my chances for not stating this even though it skipped my memory? Secondly, can I write to them stating this now that a decision has not been made? If yes, how do I go about this.

There's a very high probability that they find out about the prior refusal, and if they do, it will automatically result in another visa refusal.

Your best bet is to withdraw the application and then reapply, but make sure to declare all the previous refusals in your new application.

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/clientcontact/en/application/form/74

Below is what IRCC said about sending email or document after applications have been submitted.

For temporary resident applications, we do not accept documents sent by email if you have applied online. The email and the document sent will not be added to your application for consideration when assessing your application:

Unsolicited document submission: all relevant documents must have been submitted at the time of your application.

She asked if she needed to submit more supporting docs because she has a valid US visa and you said no need .

It is clearly stated that you can submit any documents you feel will support your application as long as it's not more than 2Mb so I advised she should submit but shrink it .

I am not smarter than the IRCC portal but by the grace of God I have 4 active visas .UK , US, Schengen and Canada . and I know the importance of docs even if it's not requested for and you feel it will help your application
Our circumstances are all different. So some people may submit few docs and still get their visas .

Just because you have US visa doesn’t mean you will qualify for CAN+ program. The system must pick your application for it after screening.

In my wife case, she was only asked for her passport data page and her Canada employment letter.

She never worked in Canada before, therefore, I uploaded her Nigerian employment letter.

CAN+ Program:
All applications are screened to determine who is CAN+ eligible.

Just be happy if your application falls under the CAN+ program because the system will only ask you for one or 2 documents.

The CAN+ program is not for everyone; it's for those who have legally traveled to Canada in the past ten years and some applicants who hold a valid non-immigrant US visa.

Also the system have to pick your application for it.

Those in this category require less documentation, and the probability of getting the visa is very high unless the applicant has violated any of the immigration policies.

Please help me share more information.

Don’t stress yourself. Go read about Canada Visa CAN+.

The CAN+ program is for those who have traveled to Canada before or some people who have US visas.

Your application is picked for the CAN+ program, which means they only require a few documents from you.

Some people are only asked to submit their passports and Canadian employment letters.

For that Canada employment letter, if you haven’t worked in Canada before, then upload your Nigerian employment letter.
