Don’t stress yourself. Go read about Canada Visa CAN+.

The CAN+ program is for those who have traveled to Canada before or some people who have US visas.

Your application is picked for the CAN+ program, which means they only require a few documents from you.

Some people are only asked to submit their passports and Canadian employment letters.

For that Canada employment letter, if you haven’t worked in Canada before, then upload your Nigerian employment letter.

I submitted an incomplete one initially through DHL (I didn’t put the biometric validity letter). so I sent a relative to add the missing document and I also paid the Vfs fees that was attached to it.

September 27 (Public Holiday): Passport departs IRCC to VFS

September 28: VFS Abuja acknowledges receipt of passport.

September 29: Pick up sms received. Passport picked up.

Previous application:- March 20, 2022. Withdrew on February 28, 2023 and reapplied on the same day. Refused June 9, 2023. Reason, lack of assets and origin of funds. Even though I included landed documents and the only deposits in my account was salary payments... I'm guessing they didn't do a thorough job.

Reapplied June 24, 2023. With same documents. No changes, except travel dates, and modification of SOP to draw their attention to my salary deposits.

Sent additional document (newborn children's birth certificate) on July 20, 2023. Acknowledged on tracker two days later.

7am, September 25, 2023, PPR sitting pretty. 😁

What are you going for, tourist, visiting a family, friend or study? Is obvious you will need assistance, It will require you sending some information, den go for biometrics, I hope all your documents are ready and complete

There was someone that was refused a Canada visa once , applied again and got it .
When he applied the 3rd time to renew cos he didn't mention the very first refusal . He was refused .

The reason you haven’t gotten a message is because the additional document you sent might have not been added yet.

It worked for me in the past. I filled out my wife's visa application, but I didn't declare her past visa refusal for the US.

Later, I wrote them a letter of apology and explained to them that I forgot to declare this refusal.

About a month later, they acknowledged receiving the webform and the uploaded document.

Her visa was approved.
 

please I have tried study route, admission not forth coming. so I used a visiting visa. now I was given a visitor's visa, but I plan to convert to study visa when I get there. I don't know if anyone here has done that before .
wanted to know if police report and medical report will be needed when am already in their country and also the compulsory short course needed to apply for a study for international student on visiting visa where it can done.

I did biometric on Thursday and up till this moment no update about it in my portal. Should I be worried?

Invitation Letter, Proof of status (PGWP document), Birth certificate to prove relationship, paystubs, your recent bank statement of account/reference letter if ur bank issues one, employment letter and utility bill to show address is extra but not necessary.

Police report may not be necessary except you want to convert to work but medicals will be needed. Secondly, I will suggest you do your medicals here because it's going to be expensive over there. Also, if you can do your ielts here, please do because you might never can tell how favourable you could be lucky to get a job because IELTS would be needed. Could you please, share your timeline of your application?

I need some advise. I am on PGWP in Canada as i recently graduated from a Canadian school. I have a job and I have savings. I want to completely sponsor my dad for a visit visa but I’m confused on the documents to submit regarding sponsorship. My dad is retired, reason why I have to be the sponsor. He is also elderly.

I plan to write a letter inviting him to stay with me for two weeks. Should I submit 4months of my Canadian saving account, employment letter and pay stub. Or simply writing an invitation letter is sufficient.

It did work for me in the past, but I don't think it is like that anymore because the visa applications of most applicants who forgot to declare their prior refusals were denied, even though some of them claimed they sent emails or webforms to correct the mistakes.

Her first US visa was refused, but she reapplied and got it.

Also, note that in my own case, this wasn't her first Canada visa. She had previously obtained a Canadian visa, and I did mention the US refusal in her first application, and it was approved.

I forgot to mention the US refusal in her second Canada visa application, but I later sent an email to them to correct this. When the application was submitted, I uploaded all the current visas she had at that time: Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Schengen. Her Canada visa was still valid for about two months then. I uploaded her expired US visa too. The application was approved.

Her third visa application was different. I still mentioned the US refusal, but I didn't upload any documents apart from her passport data page and her employment letter because those were the only documents they requested from her.

Well, my mother in law got her visa stamped dis week and we didn't even bother to ask for her bank statement as we clearly stated in the invitation letter that we would sponsor all her expenses.
In the box for how much was available we put $10,000.
If you feel it's needed, by all means go ahead Ma.
