Sorry. Apologies to him on his experience. I don’t really know what you can do but send an official complaints to the customer care of the airline and escalate it from there.
Did he have a valid Turkish Airlines ticket actually booked and paid for on his travel date? If yes, I would escalate all concerns until everything is refunded. Drag them everywhere draggable on SM if it gets to that.
think they find the airlines when a passenger travels on a one way ticket when it’s a visit visa.
If you are buying tickets from Wakanow, Travel start etc you would notice immediate you book a one way ticket they would call you up to ask you why.
If you go on to say, I have a studnet visa or a work visa, then they would proceed to issue your tickets.

It is because of the huge fines they pay when visitors travel on one way tickets and never return. Ordinarily if the Turkish airlines ticket is also valid I don’t understand why they did this. Royal Maroc is Morroco’s airline and sometimes they can be quiet intense with fellow Africans especially if it’s a Nigerian. Egypt air does the worst out of the bunch.

Thank you so much for the response. He has a valid return ticket from Turkish airline, I booked it myself. I am not a fan of Royal air because of their being notorious for missing luggage and shitty service but that was the only available flight at that time and I insisted he wasn’t going to use them on return, the reason I booked turkish.
This is just the height and even when I contacted the travel agency, they were shocked and they said it is strange.
I will take it up with Royal air and drag them everywhere.
Thank you so much

Rephrase and ask the question again. I can't tell what you need.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Newbiein2016: 11:13am On Sep 28, 2023
Call the airline directly or the agency you booked from. And you need to do this fast as Turkish is a bit funny - sometimes they will not accept changes to the date of a flight if it's a same-day departure.

Given the urgency, this should be your first line of action.

Good morning everyone.,please who knows how I can reschedule flight on Turkish airline.I’m suppose to travel but want to change it to next Week. Please it’s a matter of urgency

Start from the first page and read through. If you have specific questions on the process, you can ask for help.

Detailed info has been shared regarding similar cases in the past.

Check your ticket. This will be stated there.

However, I know that the cabin luggage is 7kg not 7/8kg and they sometimes enforce these limits.

Thanks. Please a quick one too

My husband is my sponsor. Does he have to pay the fund into my account before my appointment? Or submitting his bank statement is okay?

Good morning everyone.
Please I need urgent answers to these question.
My boyfriend who has a visitor visa to Uk was denied boarding by Royal air maroc official because his return ticket is from Turkish airline.
As per policies, I want to be believe all airlines are independent and royal air has no business with his return ticket.
I am so pained, frustrated and confused.
What can I do?

African airlines are notorious for this. Traveling to Johannesburg in August, I was forced to buy a return ticket on Air Cote D'Ivoire, even though I already had one with Kenyan Airways. I even went as far as going on the airline's website to show them my return ticket with KQ was valid, they were still adamant. I had no choice than to pay another 300k for Johannesburg - Lagos. I didn't use the ticket.

Returning back home, I reach out to the airline to reschedule and reroute the ticket for a later date, and was told I must use it on or before the end of October. 🥺🥺🥺

We challenged the ECO decision last month for reconsideration, like I said previously it is not all the ECO that knows what he or she is doing, some roasted me for that statement, I have seen so many refusals that made absolute no sense, they are humans, they have hormones too we have the bad eggs among them who just refuse you based on flimsy excuse(s).
I didn’t take the second refusal likely, as there was no difference between the previous refusal which was last year, and the this recent one and it is based on financial grounds( enough sufficient funds with proof). (Looked more like a copy and paste to me ) Pre action protocol (PAP) was sent to the home office giving them 14days to reconsider before taking it further to court for JR.
They responded on the 14th day and yes a senior caseworker in his/ her right senses looked at the evidence submitted and he/she did agreed it was sufficient enough to grant the entry clearance visiting visa in the first place.
If we had accepted fate and re - apply the third time it MAY be refused again and that is too much dent, although they claim every new application(s) is decided based on its merit but I do not want to believe they do not look at your past history with them in concluding.
So fingers crossed on when my aunt and her children will be asked to bring their passports, it shouldn’t take up to 3months sha.
Sometimes you just have to push some buttons.
Don’t let the refusal bring you down, but first, do the right thing.
And good luck to everyone.

It is not the airlines business what return ticket you purchase.
Their only concern should be that you have a return ticket if you have a visiting visa or you buy one way ticket with evidence of being a permanent resident.
I experienced it when going to UK in March this year with my Mom. I bought return ticket on Qatar Airways and bought one way ticket for my mom because I would return before her as she would spend more time with my brother. At the counter, Qatar Airways said she could only board with one way ticket with visitor visa if she has a resident permit. At the end of the day, we bought a return ticket for a later date than my return date on British Airways as we wanted her to come back direct. We showed them the code of the purchase online and they verified and allowed us to board.

As long as you didn’t pay for priority this application is within its timelines.

You can only be redirected to the TLS contact from the Gov.uk website after you have submitted and paid for your visa application - no other way.
In terms of appointment availability, the last I checked Abuja didn’t have any availability but VI does, PH and Enugu (both new premium centres) do.

Please can someone quickly give me an explanation on how to book appointment for biometric and to upload evidence documents on the TLS website. I was told it's free but on the site am being forced to pay for one of their products before I can move to next stage. Please someone help me out

Good day everyone.
Please I need some guidance. I chose the self-service and I've been able to upload all my documents. However, I'm not quite sure if the submission is successful or not as there was no indication as to that. Also, when I scrolled down, I saw a button that said "Proceed with the application". However, this button leads me to the Gov.uk website whenever I click on it.

I'd like to know if I'm on the right track. If not, what can I do? Please help.

My biometrics is on the 6th of October.

This could go on to six months though. My solicitor sent a PAP in October 2022, they replied after three months(January 2023) with another re-refusal(Reasons different from the initial ones). We sent another PAP in February (2023) and they replied in May(2023) agreeing with the challenge and granting the visa. It was a very long and daunting process. If I had reapplied without challenging, It would have been refused on some flimsy grounds. Wishing them the best

I just sent you an email not too long.. I want to speak to you about this PAP stuff.

Greetings my people.

I paid for work visa since Thursday but have been unable to get an appointment for biometrics at Ikeja TLS even for assisted service. Does that mean there is no space except if I buy premium slots?

Can I switch to another TLS center? I really want to get this part out of the way.

What should I do?

Hello. Please help clarify. Does your solicitor have to be UK based? I am in the process of sending a PAP after an annoying refusal even though all evidences provided. I have been following this thread for a while now.

To change to another TLS location you will have to cancel the current visa application and re-apply then select a different VAC location. This information is also available on TLS contact website.
You will be refunded any money you paid for the first application but it can take up to 2 weeks

Good morning guys,

I am inviting my mom and my sister for my graduation. They have the following documents:
1. employment letter
2. bank statement
3. payslips
4. utility bill
5. my BRP and passport
6. me and my sisters birth certificate to show proof that we are related and to my mom as well
7. an invitation letter from me
8. My graduation letter from school and tickets

My question now is that, I stay in a houseshare only meant for one person and uploading my tenancy agreement counters their accomodation confirmation as it states that the room is meant for only one person. What document can they use instead? Should I book an hotel?

Also, should they apply for 6 months or 2-years. This is their first time coming to the UK and I don't know

Also, their bank statements shows a huge sum of money. This was sent to them after they sold one of my father's property (who is late). And we intend to add an evidence, a letter, stating this.
