coputa: Nope, wroooooong, sorry you're wrong. THE PEOPLE of Nigeria came out in force to protest against the removal of fuel subsidy in Jan 2012 AND also forced the government to shut down SARS with mass protests. If the PEOPLE of Nigeria believe that their popular will has been usurped, they would be out in the streets protesting and trying to enforced their vote. The general, prevailing sense among Nigerians is that APC won the election. The PEOPLE of Nigeria want socialist, progressive government. They have exactly what they want. Enjoy the Renewed Hope. Good Luck to Nigerians! |

In the last two weeks quite a number of people... that l didn't even expect have requested for fund from me to help their present state . Infact l kept reasoning what a lot of people are going through in this time especially people that their income is not sustainable. I don't know the independence we are celebrating when we are still enslaved in the hands of powerful people in government. They just renew our hopes year in year out but things keep getting our of hands..it kept getting tougher year in year our without considering the aftermath on the masses . Most powerful people have stored what they and their family will need in the next 10years not minding if other people could afford breakfast. Something happened in this country that shocked me during COVID-19.... When a lot of people didn't see what to eat ..a lot of our powerful people are hoarding what they are meant to use to cushion the effects...it really broke my heart. Also, recently they shared some Congos of foodstuffs for some category of people to cushion the effects of subsidy... What is meant to cushion effect of something every body is experiencing is it not surposed to be enjoyed by all.. I can go on and on.But,l have come to the conclusion that we shall deceive ourselves till Jesus comes.l don't deceive myself na who wear shoes know where e dey pain.. na solution to all these nonsense l dey plan as l dey.. I have said it before not until there is a revolution in this country...The one that will be more powerful than the end sars period...if not we are in a very long thing. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie:You sef why are you defending this evil people for gawd sake? No sincerity of purpose on their part, they say something and next minute they are doing the opposite. China, Indonesia, Singapore, Their govt were fully involved and were committed towards revamping and turning around their country by providing the necessary tools, resources to the tens of thousands of their people whom they brought back from diaspora that was how most of them developed! Nigeria cannot be an exception. Govt must be sincere and show seriousness and committment towards the process. They are the ones to direct the process. |

RIDOO:It is unfortunate Revolution can never happen because Nigerian peoples are disunited, divided have deep entrenched for each other tribe and religion. BTW endsars protest was hugely one sided only took place in southern hemisphere North almost did not participate at all |

VeeVeeMyLuv:Stop living in Lala Land abeg! The poor in Nigeria make up the majority in that country and last I checked Democracy is a rule of the majority. So, if there is a group here that I could be found guilty of representing it is the majority, yes the poor, whom the government represents. 2. Rubbish! Government is according to the will/mandate of the people. And the people of Nigeria continue to speak. Listen to them! Stop pretending you can conveniently ignore them and make sense at the same time. |

nairalanda1: Same thing here in the USA, government welfarist spending and taxation is grinding the economy down. Unfortunately, the rich, productive and wealthy are a MINORITY in every country and the majority will always vote for socialist policies that take from that minority and distribute to the majority. It's human nature and I'm not sure it will ever change. Unless people start putting a premium on rational thought. Good Luck to us all. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie:Oh not at all bro. What I'm saying is that there is a higher tendency to procreate amongst the poor than amongst the rich. The reasons for such include higher levels of illiteracy (hence basic instincts have a stronger hold on them), amongst other factors. China had a similar problem not so long ago. The Chinese government put several measures in place to put it in check. So our government cannot run away from its responsibility. They campaigned and got voted into positions. Let them do the needful abeg. |
