The organised labour has rejected President Bola Tinubu’s N25,000 provisional wage increment for the average low-grade worker to cushion the effect of the removal of the petrol subsidy.

TheCable understands that the labour is demanding a 100 percent wage increment as part of its requests in the ongoing meeting with the representatives of the federal government at the presidential villa, Abuja.

Excellent
100% salary increase across board makes more sense
All the dimwits shouting inflation are the same daftos who said subsidy removal and naira devaluation is necessary
Can these economists tell us how exactly the above steps are good even with the attendant inflation but minim wage is bad because it will lead to inflation.

If fuel price can be exponentially increased more than 100%, I see no reason why salary shouldn't follow suit. 25000 is too small. We all know it.
