So I finally saw my August and September payslips yesterday.
I was wrongly placed in Level 12/2 from the Level 9/4 that I have been since 2013 and that's why they've been paying me 110k net in the past 2 months (no pension deductions).
Someone at the UBE Board assured me that the promotion letters were being seriously worked on and that all the issues will be sorted out there. She said they at the board were also affected and they were all waiting for the promotion letters which, hopefully, would be available soon.

Why didn't you go to your zonal board to complain?

TSS has an educational qualification and is placed on a higher salary, CONPSS of same level and step earns a much lower salary cause he or she doesn't possess an educational qualification .
Basically the difference lies in the fact that qualified teachers are placed on TEACHERS SALARY SCALE (TSS) with better pay while teachers without B.ed or PGDE are placed on Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS) with lower pay since they're not seen as qualified teachers

is when we see our promotion letters, we will know where we've been placed. However the above info I gave was based on teachers I know who have collected their pay slips

What is the difference in monetary terms between the better paid educationist and the lower paid non educationist of the same level but 1 step difference?

That's shows you don't know what is happening. The zonal board is in charge of compiling details of teachers with payment issues.
All those who had payment issues in August were all resolved in my LGA when September salary came in.

Well, entry closed on Friday for all LGAs. You will have to wait for October salary to be paid then go to your zonal board and complain.

Please, how many weeks do we have in this first term?

you're welcome, my reply wasn't based on I HEAR SAY, a personal friend of mine previously on level 8 step 3 was paid 96k , he stormed our UBE board screaming that he's been short paid only for them to issue him his pay slip and on it he saw he's been placed on CONPSS, according to people at the board, this was the reason he was paid lower salary

Pls how long did it take for you to get your TRCN Certificate? I have written the exam, passed but have not applied for the certificate. So how long does it take for it to be ready?

U are right. We were all placed on Teachers Salary Structure from the first date of employment. Whether you have educational qualification or not. The only difference is those who started with educational qualification were placed a step higher. If it was the other salary structure we were placed, our salary would have been lower.
