Commander of Israeli elite Unit 888 Roi Levy KILLED by Palestinian resistance during latest clashes.

Levy, a highly decorated Commander, awarded Man of the Year by Israeli Defense, he joins other top commanders eliminated or captured by Hamas fighters.

The political-security cabinet approved the state of war and, accordingly, the taking of significant military operations.

The approval is in accordance with Article 40 of the Basic Law of the Government.

This is Shiri with her two kids: Kfir, 9 months old, and Ariel, 3 years old. They were brutally kidnapped yesterday from their home in Kibbutz Nir- Oz.

Her husband Yarden, together with her two parents Yossi and Margit, were apparently kidnapped and brought to Gaza. Margit is sick and needs her medication.

We need to share their story and let the world know!

😢 Be warned, this is a difficult story...

An Israeli father just spoke to Channel 12.

Yesterday morning he received a call from his daughter. She had attended the Negev nature music festival, which had come under attack by Hamas forces.

While on the line, she hid under a car and whispered.

But then someone jumped in the car and fled. She was exposed.

The father heard the terrorists approach his daughter. "No, noooo," she screamed. Two shots rang out. Then a sickening quiet.

A few second later, his daughter's muffled voice, "I'm hurt. I love you..."

She was gone.

She had done nothing. She was no threat. She was executed at point-blank range for no other reason than that she was a Jew.

If this were an isloated story, it would be horrific on its own. But today it is just one of hundreds being told, rending the heart of every Israeli.

How about the emotional tales of the unarmed women and children of the Palestinians. Who’s gonna write theirs.

This is how far Hamas forces penetrated into Israel yesterday. And not just small handfuls or isolated cells of terrorists, but heavily-armed platoons!

Lebanon's army claims Israeli troops have shelled a number of Lebanese settlements with tanks and artillery, there are wounded.

Earlier it became known that the Lebanese Shiite group fired mortars at Israel "in solidarity with the Palestinian people", in response, the Israelis launched a series of strikes on Hezbollah locations in southern Lebanon.

Israel is sending Arabic-language messages to residents of Gaza warning them to move away from areas where Hamas is operating.

Hamas sent out its own message that no one is to move, or to open messages sent by Israel, which the terror group claims is "just trying to sow fear."

Police name another two officers killed in the fighting in southern Israel:
1st Sgt. Vitaly Karisik, 38, from Ashkelon, and 1st Sgt. Alon Barad, 38, from Beersheba.

Both were killed during a battle with Hamas gunmen in the southern town of Re’im, close to the border with the Gaza Strip.
In total, 32 slain police officers named.

May their Memories Forever be a blessing and may God Comfort their families.

Israeli carrier El-Al officially announced that efforts are being made to bring Israelis who are abroad back to Israel.
"We added flights from several locations in the world, and we will continue to add as we can.
